The experiment was conducted to investigate the predation behavior of crustacean
zooplankton M. albidus for first instar mosquito larvae of Culex quinquefasciatus, which may
be represented as an indicator of the species activity for biological control of mosquito larvae.
Results revealed that females spend 6.30 min. as average to find the mosquito larval and
to catch it, whereas it consumed 7.20 min. in digestion of the prey. On the other hand the
corresponding means for male were 10.29 and 4.00 min. respectively. Differences between

The aim was made to specify the effect of hyperthyroidism on B-type natriuretic
peptide (BNP) level. Twenty patients with hyperthyroidism, 20 patients with
hyperthyroidism treated with (35) mg Carbimazole, 12 patients with
hyperthyroidism associated with heart failure and 20 healthy participants were
included in this study. Serum Triiodothyronine (T3), Thyroxin (T4) and Thyroid
stimulating hormone (TSH) have been used for hyperthyroidism diagnosis test, also

   The cytotoxic effect of different concentrations of Crude extracts of  Solanum melongena  , Curcuma longa and  Daucus carota  on  mice mammary adenocarcinoma cell line was  studied . The study included 6 individuals who were working in investigation department in Hebron district as a sample. Bulk polycrystalline samples have been prepared by the two-step solid state reaction process. It has been observed that as grown Tl2-xHgxSr2Ca2Cu3O10+δ (with x = 0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, 0.8, 1) corresponds to the 2223 phase. It has been found that Tc varies with Hg content .The optimum Tc is about 120K for the composition Tl1.6Hg0.4Sr2Ca2Cu3O10+δ.The microstructure for Tl1.6Hg0.4Sr2Ca2Cu3O10+δ observed to be most dense and this phase exhibits the highest stability.
