The continuous advancement in the use of the IoT has greatly transformed industries, though at the same time it has made the IoT network vulnerable to highly advanced cybercrimes. There are several limitations with traditional security measures for IoT; the protection of distributed and adaptive IoT systems requires new approaches. This research presents novel threat intelligence for IoT networks based on deep learning, which maintains compliance with IEEE standards. Interweaving artificial intelligence with standardization frameworks is the goal of the study and, thus, improves the identification, protection, and reduction of cyber threats impacting IoT environments. The study is systematic and begins by examining IoT-specific threat data recovered from the publicly available data sets CICIDS2017 and IoT-23. Classification of network anomalies and feature extraction are carried out with the help of deep learning models such as CNN and LSTM. This paper’s proposed system complies with IEEE standards like IEEE 802.15.4 for secure IoT transmission and IEEE P2413 for architecture. A testbed is developed in order to use the model and assess its effectiveness in terms of overall accuracy, detection ratio, and time to detect an event. The findings of the study prove that threat intelligence systems built with deep learning provide explicit security to IoT networks when they are designed as per the IEEE guidelines. The proposed model retains a high detection rate, is scalable, and is useful in protecting against new forms of attacks. This research develops an approach to provide standard-compliant cybersecurity solutions to enable trust and reliability in the IoT applications across the industrial sectors. More future research can be devoted to the implementation of this system within the context of the newest advancements in technologies, such as edge computing.
This research deals with the risks of non-compliance and its impact on the profitability of Islamic banks. Research variables were measured and analyzed as the risk of non-compliance as an independent variableand profitability as a dependent variable. The profitability was measured by three indicators ((rate of return on assets, rate of return on equity and rate of return on Total deposits)) The results of the research showed a significant relationship between the risk of non-compliance and the rate of return on assets and rate of return on total deposits, while there was no relationship between the risk of non-compliance and rate of return on ownership. The research recommended that the senior management of the Islamic Investment Bank s

It takes a lot of time to classify the banana slices by sweetness level using traditional methods. By assessing the quality of fruits more focus is placed on its sweetness as well as the color since they affect the taste. The reason for sorting banana slices by their sweetness is to estimate the ripeness of bananas using the sweetness and color values of the slices. This classifying system assists in establishing the degree of ripeness of bananas needed for processing and consumption. The purpose of this article is to compare the efficiency of the SVM-linear, SVM-polynomial, and LDA classification of the sweetness of banana slices by their LRV level. The result of the experiment showed that the highest accuracy of 96.66% was achieved by the

This article presents a comprehensive neuromemristive crossbar architecture for the spatial pooler (SP) and the sparse distributed representation classifier, which are fundamental to the algorithm. There are several unique features in the proposed architecture that tightly link with the HTM algorithm. A memristor that is suitable for emulating the HTM synapses is identified and a new Z-window function is proposed. The architecture exploits the concept of synthetic synapses to enable potential synapses in the HTM. The crossbar for the SP avoids dark spots caused by unutil

This paper presents an intelligent model reference adaptive control (MRAC) utilizing a self-recurrent wavelet neural network (SRWNN) to control nonlinear systems. The proposed SRWNN is an improved version of a previously reported wavelet neural network (WNN). In particular, this improvement was achieved by adopting two modifications to the original WNN structure. These modifications include, firstly, the utilization of a specific initialization phase to improve the convergence to the optimal weight values, and secondly, the inclusion of self-feedback weights to the wavelons of the wavelet layer. Furthermore, an on-line training procedure was proposed to enhance the control per

The PCM is held in the middle pipe of a triple-pipe heat exchanger while the heat transfer fluid flows through the internal and external pipes. The dimension effects of the T-shaped fins on the melting process of the PCM are investigated to determine the optimum case. Results indicate that while using T-shaped fins improves the melting performance of the PCM, the improvement potential is mainly governed by the fin’s body rather than the head. Hence, the proposed T-shaped fin did not noticeably improve melting at the bottom of the PCM domain; additionally, a flat fin is ad
