     The ambient temperature is the major parameter that influences wind speed. When temperature rises, air will be extended and wind will flow with different speeds in all directions, increasing of temperature means that wind speed will be increased and vice versa. In this project, the data of thirty four years (1981 – 2004) has been analyzed to get an idea about the changes occurred in the meteorological parameters in Al-Nasiriya city, which was chosen because it has a distinctive wind speed.

This extract was compared to the well known anticancer drug Cis – Platinum by utilizing an in vivo system in female Albino mice. The first direction was cytogenetically using the mitotic Index of bone marrow cells as a parameter for the cytotoxic effect of this extract. The second direction was enzymatical using a widely distributed enzyme GOT in the different organs of mice: Liver , kidney , spleen and lung . The aim was made to specify the effect of hyperthyroidism on B-type natriuretic
peptide (BNP) level. Twenty patients with hyperthyroidism, 20 patients with
hyperthyroidism treated with (35) mg Carbimazole, 12 patients with
hyperthyroidism associated with heart failure and 20 healthy participants were
included in this study. Serum Triiodothyronine (T3), Thyroxin (T4) and Thyroid
stimulating hormone (TSH) have been used for hyperthyroidism diagnosis test, also
