The developed Iraqi Water Quality Index (IQWQI) includes physical and chemical components. This system was used to examine the efficiency of two ceramic filter discs as a medium for water filtration. Methods: NIC was investigated using a UV-visible spectrophotometer in acidic buffer solution (ABS) of pH 1.2, deionized water (DW), and phosphate buffer solution (PBS), pH 7.4.
