This paper is employed to discuss the effects of the magnetic field and heat transfer on the peristaltic flow of Rabinowitsch fluid through a porous medium in the cilia channel. The governing equations (mass, motion, and energy) are formulated and then the assumptions of long wavelength and low Reynold number are used for simplification. The velocity field, pressure gradient, temperature, and streamlines are obtained when the perturbation technique is applied to solve the nonlinear partial differential equations. The study shows that the velocity is decreased with increasing Hartmann number while it is decreased with increasing the porosity.

Chickenpox is a viral disease caused by a virus called varicella zoster (VZ). Chickenpox cases were counted in Al-Dora city (southern Baghdad). Data of disease was obtained from the records of Bilat Al-Shuhadaa health center at the period from January to July 2012. Diagnosis of cases was achieved by the physicians of the health center. Studied risk factors were including the gender, address, school and age. Total of cases recorded was 73cases (66.9 per 100,000) populations for seven months. Males reported cases were 48 (65.7%) while female’s cases were 25(34.3%). In this research, the computational work methodology was followed by building a numerical model using Geo-Studio program to check the efficiency of using concrete sheet piles as a cut-off or reducer for seepage with time if the sheet piles facing the drawdown technique. Mishrif formation is a carbonate rock (Limestone and Dolomite) and its thickness reach to 170m. The main reservoir is the lower Mishrif (MB) layer which has medium permeability (3.5-100) md and good porosity (10-25) %.
