This study included the isolation and diagnosis of Pseudomonas aeruginosa from cases of burns samples. 100 samples were collected from resident patients at Al-Kindi Teaching Hospital, who suffer from different types of burns. Pseudomonas aeruginosa was isolated and diagnosed with 39% of the total samples. The cold and hot aqueous and alcoholic extract of flaxseeds oil was prepared and its inhibitory efficacy has been studied on the growth of isolated Pseudomonas aeruginosa. ABSTRACT : Bacillus cereus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa is the ability to produce a wide antimicrobial active compounds (Bacillin and S-Pyocin) against pathogenic microorganism. The development of a reversed phase high performance liquid chromatography fluorescence method for the determination of the mycotoxins fumonisin B1 and fumonisin B2 by using silica-based monolithic column is described.       Using three-point bending experiments,  the effect of the particle size of SiO₂ on the flexural properties of epoxy composites was investigated. Young modulus and flexural strength were studied for different weight percentage of filler  (2,4,6,8 and 10) wt%.The size of SiO₂ particles varied from micro (100um) to nano (12nm) .

Flexural strength and  Young modul were found to increase with the filler content, but when the particle size decreased to the nanoscale, the  Young module  increased. Flexural strength was higher for microcomposites than nanocomposites.
