Simulation of Syngas Addition Effect on Emissions Characteristics, Combustion, and Performance of the Diesel Engine Working under Dual Fuel Mode and Lambda Value of 1.6.
...Show More Authors
Abstract<p>The present work aims to study the combustion characteristics related to syngas-diesel dual-fuel engine operates at lambda value of 1.6 operated by five different replacement ratios (RR) of syngas with diesel, which are (10%, 20%, 30 %, 40 % and 50%). ANSYS Workbench (CFD) was used for simulating the combustion of the syngas-diesel dual-fuel engine. The numerical simulations were carried out on the Ricardo-Hydra diesel engine. The simulation results revealed that the diesel engine’s combustion efficiency was enhanced by increasing the diesel replacement with Syngas fuel. The diesel engine’s combustion efficiency The peak in-cylinder temperature was enhanced from 915.9K to 2790.5K (50% RR). Moreover, the peak pressure was improved from 3659073 Pa to 4525366 pa (23% increase), 4947790 pa (35% increase), 5929709Pa (62% increase) and 6708188 Pa (83%) for diesel fuel mode and dual fuel mode (20%, 30%, 40% and 50%) respectively. Moreover, CO, NO, and CO2 emissions in the engine increased with the increase in syngas’ replacement ratio with diesel. Besides, the emission levels of NO, CO2 and CO from a diesel engine are lower than a dual fuel engine (syngas-diesel). The NO mass fraction values rise from 2.02505E-19 at diesel mode to 0.000834126 (20% RR), 0.004176854 (30% RR), 0.005021933 (40% RR) and 0.007554865 (50% RR). Moreover, the CO2 mass fraction values increase from 5.90944E-07 at diesel mode to 0.033849446 (50% RR).</p>

Abstract\

The value chain analysis is main tools to achieve effective and efficient cost management; it requires a depth and comprehensive understanding for all internal and external activities associated with creating value.  Supply chain as apart of value chain, that means managing it in active and efficient can achieve great results when adopting a comprehensive and integrated performance for these two chains activities. The research aims to identify possible ways to integrate the performance of value and supply chains of the sample" Kufa-cement plant" and determine the effect of this integration in enhancing customer value. The research arrival that logical and integrated analysis of value and supply chains helps

Statistical Model for Polarization Mode Dispersion in Single Mode Fibers
...Show More Authors

As the bit rate of fiber optic transmission systems is increased to more than , the system will suffer from an important random phenomena, which is called polarization mode dispersion. This phenomenon contributes effectively to: increasing pulse width, power decreasing, time jittering, and shape distortion. The time jittering means that the pulse center will shift to left or right. So that, time jittering leads to interference between neighboring pulses. On the other hand, increasing bit period will prevent the possibility of sending high rates. In this paper, an accurate mathematical analysis to increase the rates of transmission, which contain all physical random variables that contribute to determine the transmission rates, is presen

Analytical Study of the Royal-Jelly Effect on Sperms Morphological Characteristics and some Liver Function Parameters and their Correlation with some Antioxidants in Male Albino Rats Treated with Pregabalin Drug
...Show More Authors
Abstract<p>In recent years, the consideration of natural products as anti-inflammatory and antioxidative treatments has more interested worldwide. Moreover, natural products are easily obtained and are relatively safe the Royal jelly (RJ) is one of them. The current study was carried to evaluate the effects of pregabalin (PGB) on physiological activity of sperms, reproductive hormones assay and some biochemical analysis. Forty (40) male albino rats (10-weeks-old) were divided into four groups (10 rats each): G1 (treated with PGB drug, 150 mg/kg B.wt (Lyrica-Pfizer-Pharmaceutical Industries), G2 (treated with RJ 1g/kg), G3 (treated with PGB drug and RJ together), and G4 control treated with norma</p> ... Dynamics of Predator-prey Model under Fluctuation Rescue Effect
...Show More Authors

This paper presents a novel idea as it investigates the rescue effect of the prey with fluctuation effect for the first time to propose a modified predator-prey model that forms a non-autonomous model. However, the approximation method is utilized to convert the non-autonomous model to an autonomous one by simplifying the mathematical analysis and following the dynamical behaviors. Some theoretical properties of the proposed autonomous model like the boundedness, stability, and Kolmogorov conditions are studied. This paper's analytical results demonstrate that the dynamic behaviors are globally stable and that the rescue effect improves the likelihood of coexistence compared to when there is no rescue impact. Furthermore, numerical simul

Effect of Adding Different Levels of Spirulina Algae (Spirulina Platensis) To the Diet of Japanese Quail on the Productive Performance
...Show More Authors

This experiment was conducted at Poultry Research Station of the Animal Resources Research Department-Office Agricultural Research-Ministry of Agriculture in Iraq, during a period of 16 weeks (four periods and each period of four weeks) from 21 th April to 10 th August 2019. In this experiment 240 Japanese quail's female 9 weeks old, were used in this experiment. Females were randomly assigned to five treatments with three replicates per treatment (16 females/replicate). The experimental treatments were T1, T2, T3, T4 and T5 with an addition of Spirulina in an average of (0, 1, 2, 3, 4%) respectively in the diets of quail to study their effect on productive performance. The results of the experiment showed significant increase (P≤0.05) re

Effect of Thickness on the Electrical Conductivity and Hall Effect Measurements of (CIGS) films
...Show More Authors

The influence of different thickness (500, 1000, 1500, and 2000) nm on the electrical conductivity and Hall effect measurements have been investigated on the films of copper indium gallium selenide CuIn1-xGaxSe2 (CIGS) for x= 0.6.The films were produced using thermal evaporation technique on glass substrates at R.T from (CIGS) alloy. The electrical conductivity (σ), the activation energies (Ea1, Ea2), Hall mobility and the carrier concentration are investigated and calculated as function of thickness. All films contain two types of transport mechanisms of free carriers, and increases films thickness was fond to increase the electrical cAnductivity whereas the activation energy (Ea) would vary with films thickness. Hall Effect analysis resu

Improvement of the Solubility and Dissolution Characteristics of Risperidone via Nanosuspension Formulations
...Show More Authors

Risperidone is an atypical antipsychotic drug that is used for treating schizophrenia, bipolar mania, and autism. Risperidone rebalances dopamine and serotonin to improve thinking, mood, and behavior by working on dopamine and serotonin α2receptor antagonism. Risperidone has poor solubility and high permeability through the intestine, so it belongs to Biopharmaceutical Classification System (BCS) class II exhibits poor oral biopharmaceutical properties.

The aim of the present work was to improve solubility and dissolution of Risperidone by preparing nanosuspension using different stabilizers and different solvents‎ in a method known as solvent-antisolvent precipitation method.  Twenty-eight formulas were prepared
