The reaction of poly (vinyl alcohol) (PV A) with Urea in (DMSO) resulted in uerthanised oxim, wr,ich reacted with diacetylmonoxime in a (DY.ISOfmethanol) to give anew type (N2) polymeric bidentate imine oxime ligand [HL], The ligand was reacted with MCh (where M= Co, Cu, and Hg). Under reflux in a (DMF/Methanol) mixture with (I:1) ratio to give Complexes of the general formula [M (T.)2]X, (where M= Co,Hg, Cu). All .:ompouncs have been characterized by spectroscopic methods [IR, U.V.-Vis, A tomi<;absorption] microanalysis along with conductivity measurements, from the above:: data the proposed molecular structure for Co,Cu, and Hg is a distorted. Mixed metal ligand complexes is reported with Curcumin (CUM) as a primary ligand and 1:10-phenanthroline (phen ) as secondary ligand. The structures of these complexes are confirmed by using FT-IR and UV- electronic spectroscopies, magnetic moments, melting points , molar conductivity measurements .and the metal % analysis revealed that the complexes analyze indicates a six coordinated as[M(CUM)( Phen)2]Cl, M=Mn (II), Co(II), Ni(II),Cu(II) ,Zn(II) , Cd(II) , Hg(II) and [M’ (CUM)( Phen)2]Cl2 M’= Cr(III) &. Fe(III). In-vitro antimicrobial studies on ( Curcumin and 1:10-phenanthroline ligands and mixed metal ligand complexes against {(Bacillus subtilis (G+) , Esherichia Coli (G-) and as well as antifungal activities against Candida albican
... Show MoreCopper Telluride Thin films of thickness 700nm and 900nm, prepared thin films using thermal evaporation on cleaned Si substrates kept at 300K under the vacuum about (4x10-5 ) mbar. The XRD analysis and (AFM) measurements use to study structure properties. The sensitivity (S) of the fabricated sensors to NO2 and H2 was measured at room temperature. The experimental relationship between S and thickness of the sensitive film was investigated, and higher S values were recorded for thicker sensors. Results showed that the best sensitivity was attributed to the Cu2Te film of 900 nm thickness at the H2 gas.
Otitis media with effusion (OME) is a common disease especially among young children (before school age) and it is one of the common causes of acquired hearing loss in childhood. Pediatric patients with OME are usually undernourished. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the serum levels of trace elements (zinc, copper, magnesium, iron) have a role in the development of OME in children. This study carried out on 55 children and subdivided them into two groups. Group 1 (patient group) consist of 30 children suffering from OME and group 2 (control group) included 25 apparently healthy children. Serum levels of zinc, copper, magnesium and iron were measured for both groups. Comparison the results between the two groups showed t

In order to study the effect of increasing thickness on optical properties, transmission and absorption spectra have been record for five different thicknesses(80,140,210,250,320)µm. The study has been extended to include the changes in the band gap energies, refractive index, extinction coefficient and absorption coefficient with thickness.
Oxazine and quinazoline has a very important in organic chemistry especially in hetero cyclic fields. this research consist the preparation of 4H,4'H-2,2'-bibenzo[d][1,3]oxazine-4,4'-dione compound (1) from di acid chloride with 2-aminobenzoic acid in pyridine as solvent to give compound (2) 3,3'-diamino-2,2'- biquinazoline-4,4'(3H,3'H)-dione .compound 2 include free amino group .this compound was reacted with maleic and phthalic anhydride for synthesized of cyclic imide compounds (3,4).another reaction for compound 2 with some substituted aromatic aldehyde for prepared of some novel Schiff bases (5-9) contains quinazoline ring. compound 1 was treated with sulfathiazole and sulfadiazine for synthesized of sulfa compounds contains sulf

Synthesis parameters like time and temperature of crystallization were investigated. Type of template (R) and ratio of R/P2O5 were studied also. Characterization of the synthesized AlPO4-5 were done by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM/EDX), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), differential scanning calorimetry-thermogravimetry analysis (DSC-TGA), and N2 adsorption-desorption BET analysis. XRD patterns results showed excellent crystallinity for two types of templates, di-n-propylamine (DPA) and tetrapropyl ammonium hydroxide (TPAOH) f
... Show MoreDiscotic liquid crystal compounds were synthesized and characterized. Liquid crystalline texture of these compounds was investigated by polarized optical microscopy (POM). The Hartree-Fock approximation (HF) was used to calculate theoretical molecular parameters for synthesized compounds such as optimization, hardness, EHOMO, ELUMO, and energy gap using the Gaussian 09W program.
The present study aimed to synthesize selenium nanoparticles (SeNPs) using aqueous extract of black currant as a reducing agent. The green synthesized black currant selenium nanoparticles (BCSeNPs) were identified by color change. The characterization of SeNPs was achieved by Ultraviolet-visible (UV–VIS) spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X–ray diffraction analysis (XRD), and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). These tests were used to detect: stability, morphology, size, crystalline nature, and functional groups present on the surface of BCSeNPs. The results revealed appearance of the brick-red color indicating the specific color of selenium nanoparticles, and UV-Vis spectroscopy showed band absorbanc
