...Show More Authors

Abstract: The aim of this study is to monitor the variation of physical property and chemical composition of vaginal fluid in the cow. The constituents of estrous vaginal fluid sample, its consistency color and electrolyte composition to be diagnose during estrous. The sample in this research was 22 dairy cows. The research methodology involves the procedure, which is used in making decisions and clarifying the course of action, and the underlying assumptions through taking samples and examining the fluid and assessed nature for each samples. A 5 ml Samples of vaginal fluids preparation for the determination of some elements after taking samples, description of its conditions, extraction and examination the fluid was described using direct strips test. The data analysis consists of the vaginal swab samples and the chemical strips test. The results indicate color and there were variation of the fluid's flow. Color of a vaginal fluid with fluid consistency were transparence to white in color based on the comparison fluid thickness part of white and thickness observed were significantly different the indicator to female nurturing PH were significantly the estrus phase in dairy cow. The result explain leukocyte average value = 18.40909. the presence of protein in sample average value = 37.727 mg /ml , While PH fluid values generally range from 5 to 9, the average values =6.932 . Evaluated specific gravity in the sample =017 .1 . The RBC explain average value between (0-200) cell/uL. Findings of this study, it can be concluded that various physico-chemical properties of vaginal fluid could be changed during estrus phase in cows. Keywords: vaginal fluid ,estrus phase, Chemical component, physical properties, chemical strips tests.

A comparative Analytical Investigation of Different Geomagnetic Storms During Solar Cycles 23 and 24
...Show More Authors
Abstract<p>In this work, the geomagnetic storms that occurred during solar cycles 23 and 24 were classified based on the value of the Disturbance Storm Time index (Dst), which was considered an indicator of the strength of geomagnetic conditions. The special criterion of Dst >-50 nT was adopted in the classification process of the geomagnetic storms based on the minimum daily value of the Dst-index. The number of geomagnetic storms that occurred during the study period was counted according to the adopted criteria, including moderate storms with (Dst >-50 nT), strong storms with (Dst >-100 nT), severe storms with (Dst >-200 nT), and great storms with (Dst >-350 nT). Assessment of serum Interleukin-1β and its correlation with periodontal health status during pregnancy
...Show More Authors

Background: Pregnancy is a stressful state of increased inflammatory activity, and pregnancy – associated hormone changes can influence periodontal tissues, these inflammatory activity lead to production of inflammatory mediators. Interleukin 1 beta (IL-1β) is a potent pro-inflammatory cytokines that is consistently associated with periodontal diseases. This study was designed to determine the periodontal health status and detect the serum level of IL-1β in the healthy pregnant women at first, second and third trimester and compare it with healthy non pregnant women, and determine its correlation with different clinical periodontal parameters. Design and Simulation of Closed Loop Proportional Integral (PI) Controlled Boost Converter and 3-phase Inverter for Photovoltaic (PV) Applications
...Show More Authors

This research deals with the design and simulation of a solar power system consisting of a KC200GT solar panel, a closed loop boost converter and a three phase inverter by using Matlab / Simulink. The mathematical equations of the solar panel design are presented. The electrical characteristics of the panel are tested at the values of 1000  for light radiation and 25 °C for temperature environment. The Proportional Integral (PI) controller is connected   as feedback with the Boost converter to obtain a stable output voltage by reducing the oscillations in the voltage to charge a battery connected to the output of the converter. Two methods (Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and Zeigler- Nichols) are used for tuning

Extraction of Bovine Serum Albumin by Aqueous Two-Phase System Using PEG4000/Sodium Citrate and PEG8000/Sodium Phosphate
...Show More Authors

Aqueous Two Phase System (ATPS) or liquid-liquid extraction is used in biotechnology to recover valuable compounds from raw sources. In Aqueous Two-Phase Systems, many factors influence the Partition coefficient, K, (which is the ratio of protein concentration in the top phase to that in the bottom phase) and the Recovery percentage (Rec%). In this research, two systems of ATPS were used: first, polyethylene glycol (PEG) 4000/Sodium citrate (SC), and the second, PEG8000/ Sodium phosphate (SPH), for the extraction of Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA). The behavior of Rec% and K of pure (BSA) in ATPS has been investigated throughout the study by the effects of five parameters: temperature, concentration of polyethylene glycol (P

Molecular Imprinted of Nylon 6 for Selective Separation of Procaine by Solid-Phase Extraction
...Show More Authors

The study is based on the selective binding ability of the drug compound procaine (PRO) on a surface imprinted with nylon 6 (N6) polymer. Physical characterization of the polymer template was performed by X-ray diffraction and DSC thermal analysis. The imprinted polymer showed a high adsorption capacity to trap procaine (237 µg/g) and excellent recognition ability with an imprinted factor equal to 3.2. The method was applied to an extraction column simulating a solid-phase extraction to separate the drug compound in the presence of tinoxicam and nucleosimide separately and in a mixture of them with a recovery rate more than the presence of tinoxicam and nucleosimide separately and in a mixture of them with a recovery rate of more t
