**Sarah Kadhim Al-Hayali **received my BSc and MSc degrees in laser and optoelectronics engineering from Al-Nahrain University, Baghdad, Iraq, in 2005 and 2008, respectively, and PhD in laser/electronic and communication engineering from the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies, University of Baghdad, Iraq. I am currently an assistant professor at the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies, University of Baghdad. My current research interests include optical fiber lasers and optical fiber sensing.
