Mohammed Albedhawi is an Associate Professor at the University of Baghdad. His research focuses on cancer biology, cancer stem cells, molecular genetics, immunostaining, bioinformatics include sequancing and molecular docking. His work aims to understand the molecular mechanisms underlying tumor initiation, progression, and stem cell–driven resistance, with the goal of identifying novel diagnostic and therapeutic targets. He combines experimental molecular approaches with computational tools, including multiomic bioinformatics analysis, to screen and evaluate potential therapeutic compounds and cancer-associated targets. He has contributed to research in molecular genetics and immuno-based detection methods, and has supervised and published work in these fields.
