My academic journey began with a Pharmacy degree from the University of Baghdad in 2006, followed by a role as a laboratory instructor at the same institution/ pharmacognocy department. I completed a master’s in pharmacognocy and medicinal plants in 2013 and returned as a faculty member in the same department. In 2018, I pursued a Ph.D. in pharmacognocy, which I completed in 2022. Now, I serve as an assistant professor with extensive experience in phytochemistry, phytothrapy and pharmacognocy research, having published over 12 papers.
