My academic journey began with a Pharmacy degree from the University of Baghdad in 2006, followed by a role as a laboratory instructor at the same institution/ pharmacognocy department. I completed a master’s in pharmacognocy and medicinal plants in 2013 and returned as a faculty member in the same department. In 2018, I pursued a Ph.D. in pharmacognocy, which I completed in 2022. Now, I serve as an assistant professor with extensive experience in phytochemistry, phytothrapy and pharmacognocy research, having published over 12 papers.

• Faculty member at the College of Pharmacy, University of Baghdad. • Supervision of master’s and doctoral students in the Department of Pharmacognosy and Medicinal Plants. • Member of the Scientific Committee in the same department. • Member of the Iraqi Pharmacists Syndicate. • Member of several scientific and ministerial committees at the Iraqi Ministry of Health.
