Synthesis and Characterization of Novel Ligand Type N2O2 and it,s Complexes With Cu(п) Co(п), Ni(п), Zn(п), and Cd(п) ions
...Show More Authors

The reaction of ethylenediamine with [2,4,6-trihydroxyacetophenon] and KOH (Schiff Base) to gives the new tetradentate ligand 2-(1-{2-{1-2,6-Dihydroxy-4-methyl phenyl)ethyliden amino}- ethylimino}-ethyl-benzene- 1,2,5-triol [HCl]. This ligand was reacted with some metal ions (Cu(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Zn(II), and Cd(II)) in methanol with (1:1) metal :  ligand ratio to give a series of new complexes of the general formula [M(H4L)], where: M= Cu(11), Co(II), Ni(II), Zn(II), and Cd(II).      All compounds were characterized by spectroscopic methods [I.R, U.V.-Vis, C.H.N., analysis H.P.L.C, atomic absorption, magnetic susceptibility, (EI-mass for the ligand)], and microanalysis along with conductivity measurements

Separation of cobalt from spent catalyst CoMo by precipitation and Ion exchange techniques
...Show More Authors

Two methods were established to separate cobalt from the spent catalyst CoMo which also contain Co, Al and Fe. The first method was the precipitation technique by controlling the pH. At pH 5, 76% of the cobalt which was collected with 1.4% Al and 0.5% Fe as contaminants. The second method was the anion exchange by using Amberlite 400 resin, 100% of the cobalt and was collected with 99.46% purity. The only contaminant was Fe with 0.54% with no Al.  For a large scale production of cobalt from this spent catalyst, a batch process was designed with a production of 80 grams per batch by using the anion exchange technique. Kilograms quantities of Co were collected.

In this paper we introduced the concept of 2-pure submodules as a generalization of pure submodules, we study some of its basic properties and by using this concept we define the class of 2-regular modules, where an R-module M is called 2-regular module if every submodule is 2-pure submodule. Many results about this concept are given.

The present study aims to assess the effect of the Tharthar Canal as an outlet canal that feeds back from the Tharthar Lake on the quality of the Tigris water. Utilizing a Canadian Water Quality Index (CCME-WQI) for the protection of aquatic life Water samples were obtained every month from January to December of 2020. Six different sites were selected: four along the Tigris River and two on the Tharthar Canal. Seven ecological parameters were used to assess water quality depending on importance and availability: water temperature, Water Temperature, Turbidity, Dissolved Oxygen (DO), Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), pH, Nitrate (NO3-) and Phosphate ( . Enhancing Gas Sensing Performance of TiO2-ZnO nanostructures: Effect of ZnO Concentration
...Show More Authors

Gas sensors based on titanium dioxide (TiO2) and zinc oxide (ZnO) nanocomposites are considered energy-saving devices that are utilized to find dangerous or harmful gases in an environment. The performance of nitrogen dioxide (NO2) gas sensors have been improved by spin-coating a TiO2 and TiO2:ZnO nanocomposite with varying concentrations (90TiO2:10ZnO, 70TiO2:30ZnO, and 50TiO2:50ZnO). To correlate structural properties with gas-sensing behavior, structural and morphological characterization has been done using FESEM, XRD, and EDX.  Without any ZnO-specific crystalline phase, TiO2

Theoretical Study of Energy Loss of Proton in Human Tissues
...Show More Authors

In this paper, a theoretical study was carried out to calculate the proton energy loss in human tissues (Adipose tissue, Blood, Bone (Compact), Bone (Cortical), Brain, Eye lens, Lung, Skin, and Testicles) within the energy range of 1 MeV to 1000 MeV. We calculated the total stopping power for each tissue element separately using the Bethe-Bloch equation, and then used Bragg's rule for compounds to determine the tissue's total stopping power. The total stopping power is directly proportional to the atomic number divided by the target material's atomic mass (Z/A) and target material density (ρ), and inversely proportional to the target material's mean excitation energy (I) and proton energy (E). The results indicate that th

The Effect of Annealing Process on Surface Plasmon Resonances in Tungsten Trioxide Films
...Show More Authors

In this study, after pyrolyzing the prepared solution, we made films from transitional tungsten oxide metal doped with gold nanoparticles and deposited them using a spray deposition technique on glass substrates at a substrate temperature of 320°C. We then annealed the prepared films at various temperatures (673,773 K) for one hour, in which we detected the band of localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) in gold-doped tungsten oxide films around the wavelength of 595 nm, and thermal treatment increased its intensity to near the wavelength of 580 nm. The produced and annealed thin films also demonstrated an indirect energy gap smaller than (2.86-2.61) eV in the UV-visible spectrum. The structural characteristics of the manufactured an

Effect of Couple-Stress on Peristaltic Transport of Sutterby Fluid in an Asymmetric Channel
...Show More Authors

In this paper, the effect of a couple–stress and other variables on the peristaltic flow of Sutterby fluid in an inclined asymmetric channel containing a porous medium with heat transfer is examined. In the presence of rotation and couple–stress, mathematical modeling is developed using constitutive equations based on the model of Sutterby fluid. In flow analysis, assumptions such as long wavelength approximation and low Reynolds number are used. The resulting nonlinear equation was numerically solved using the perturbation method. The effects of various physical parameters such as the couple-stress parameter, the Grashof number, the Hartmann number, the Reynold number, the Froude number, the Hall parameter, the Darcy number, the mag

Oscillation Criteria for Solutions of Neutral Differential Equations of the Second-Order Emden-Fowler Type with Forcing Term

In this paper, the oscillation property and the asymptotic behavior of solutions of neutral second-order differential Equations of the Emden-Fowler type were studied under the influence of the coefficients of forces. It has been shown through this research that the coefficients of forces in addition to the Emden-Fowler type have a major role on the oscillation of solutions of neutral Equations. As well as its effect on the convergence and divergence of nonoscillatory solutions. For this purpose, some conditions are obtained to ensure that all solutions of the neutral Equations Emden-Fowler type oscillating or nonoscillating go to ∞, as t → ∞. Some of these conditions are the development of conditions similar to them in some of th

Cubic Ideals of TM-algebras

For the generality of fuzzy ideals in TM-algebra, a cubic ideal in this algebra has been studied, such as cubic ideals and cubic T-ideals. Some properties of these ideals are investigated. Also, we show that the cubic T-ideal is a cubic ideal, but the converse is not generally valid. In addition, a cubic sub-algebra is defined, and new relations between the level subset and a cubic sub-algebra are discussed. After that, cubic ideals and cubic T-ideals under homomorphism are studied, and the image (pre-image) of cubic T-ideals is discussed. Finally, the Cartesian product of cubic ideals in Cartesian product TM-algebras is given. We proved that the product of two cubic ideals of the Cartesian product of two TM-algebras is also a cubic idea
