Effect of Pistachio Husks Powder Additive on Unsaturated Polyester Composites
...Show More Authors

In this study, polyester composites reinforced with pistachio shells powder (P.) with an average
diameter (150 – 200 μm) with different weight ratios (0.5%, 1%, 1.5%, 2%, and 2.5%) were
prepared to the resin. The Shore D hardness, thermal conductivity (K), and the glass transition
temperature (Tg) of the samples were examined. The results showed that the Shore D hardness
increases with the increase of the reinforcement ratio and its maximum value is (87.55) at (2.5%
P.) While the value of hardness at (0%) is (86.5). The thermal conductivity increases slightly with
the increase in the percentage of reinforcement and its maximum value is (0.213253 W/ m. K) at
(2.5% P.), while the value of K at (0% P.)

This work describes the synthesis of novel ligand (H2L2) (4-((2-hydroxy-5-nitrophenyl)imino)methyl)-5(hydroxymethyl)-2methylpyridin-3-ol)  type (NOO) donor atoms. When it coordinates with metal ions[V2+,Mn2+,Fe2+,Co2+,Ni2+,Cu2+and Pt4+] with the general formula K2[M(L2)2].XH2O and K2[VO(L2)(OSO3)].H2O . This ligand can form tridentate structures. The ligand was synthesized from the reaction of pyridoxal hydrochloride with 2-amino-4-nitrophenol in ethanol (as a solvent) at a mole ratio of 1:1 and thoroughly mixed and refluxed for 6-8  hrs . The reaction

Solution of Population Growth Rate Linear Differential Model via Two Parametric SEE Transformation
...Show More Authors

The integral transformations is a complicated function from a function space into a simple function in transformed space. Where the function being characterized easily and manipulated through integration in transformed function space. The two parametric form of SEE transformation and its basic characteristics have been demonstrated in this study. The transformed function of a few fundamental functions along with its time derivative rule is shown. It has been demonstrated how two parametric SEE transformations can be used to solve linear differential equations. This research provides a solution to population growth rate equation. One can contrast these outcomes with different Laplace type transformations

A Brief Review: Some Interesting Methods of Synthesis Chromene Derivatives as Bioactive Molecules
...Show More Authors

Chromene is considered a fused pyran ring with a benzene ring, which is found in many plants and is part of many important compounds such as anthocyanidins, anthocyanins, catechins, and flavanones. These compounds are included under the headings "flavonoids" and "iso-flavonoids." These compounds are well known as bioactive molecules with wide medicinal uses. According to these pharmacokinetic characteristics, many researchers are giving more attention to this type of compound and its derivatives. Many chromene derivatives have been synthesized to study their biological effects for the treatment of many diseases. Furthermore, the researcher displayed wide interest in finding new methods for synthesizing chromene derivatives. These methods

Using a New General Complex Integral Transform for Solving Population Growth and Decay Problems
...Show More Authors

The Population growth and decay issues are one of the most pressing issues in many sectors of study. These issues can be found in physics, chemistry, social science, biology, and zoology, among other subjects.

We introduced the solution for these problems in this paper by using the SEJI (Sadiq- Emad- Jinan) integral transform, which has some mathematical properties that we use in our solutions. We also presented the SEJI transform for some functions, followed by the inverse of the SEJI integral transform for these functions. After that, we demonstrate how to use the SEJI transform to tackle population growth and decay problems by presenting two applications that demonstrate how to use this transform to obtain solutions.

The Water Area of Sawa Lake as Derived from Land Surface Temperature and Remote Sensing Data
...Show More Authors

Sawa Lake is one of the unique lakes in Iraq. It is located in the southwestern part of Iraq. It is one of the closed lakes, as no surface water source works to feed the lake. The lake feeds on groundwater. The source of this groundwater is the Dammam Basin. During the past ten years, The lake has had many changes, which led to a decrease in water levels. This also led attention to study of the causes of these changes. Many types of research were presented in the study of the state of the lake. This research used remote sensing images from Landsat 8 OLI to monitor the changes during 2020-2021 by applying the NDWI equation to extract water area from image data. The results of the areas were obtained from a special report by Normalized Dif

A Study of the Land Cover of Razzaza Lake during the Past 25 Years Using Remote Sensing Methods
...Show More Authors

In this study, the Earth's surface was studied in  Razzaza Lake for 25 years, using remote sensing methods. Images of the satellites Landsat 5 (TM) and 8 (OLI) were used to study and determine the components of the land cover. The study covered the years 1995-2021 with an interval of 5 years, as this region is uninhabited, so the change in the land cover is slow. The land cover was divided into three main classes and seven subclasses and classified using the maximum likelihood classifier with the help of training sets collected to represent the classes that made up the land cover. The changes detected in the land cover were studied by considering 1995 as a reference year. It was found that there was a significant reduction in the water

A Study of the Effectiveness of Tin on the Thermal Conductivity Coefficient and Electrical Resistance of Se60Te40-xSnx Chalcogenide Glass
...Show More Authors

This research calculated the effect of partial replacement of Trillium with tin by weight ratios x=0, 5, 10, 15, and 20 of the weight of manufactured samples on the thermal conductivity coefficient of Se60Te40-xSnx chalcogenide glasses. The thermal conductivity coefficient of the samples was calculated using a disk- Lee. The results showed that increasing the concentration of tin improves the thermal insulation ability by decreasing the thermal conductivity value and then determining the optimal weight ratios at which a large thermal insulation is obtained.

The electrical resistivity as a function of temperature was studied. The electrical resistivity (rd.c) was calculated as a function of temperature for all

Using the Size Strain Plot Method to Specity Lattice Parameters
...Show More Authors

X-ray diffractometers deliver the best quality diffraction data while being easy to use and adaptable to various applications. When X-ray photons strike electrons in materials, the incident photons scatter in a direction different from the incident beam; if the scattered beams do not change in wavelength, this is known as elastic scattering, which causes amplitude and intensity diffraction, leading to constructive interference. When the incident beam gives some of its energy to the electrons, the scattered beam's wavelength differs from the incident beam's wavelength, causing inelastic scattering, which leads to destructive interference and zero-intensity diffraction. In this study, The modified size-strain plot method was used to examin

Experimental Investigation on Adsorption of Methyl orange Using eggshells as adsorbent Surface

The role of residues in the adsorption process for removing contaminants from their aqueous solution was highlighted in this study. The adsorption capacity of eggshells were used to remove the methyl orange dye from its aqueous solution. The highest dye adsorption was found to range between (62.30% to 62.33%). The results of using adsorption isotherms (Freundlich, Langmuir, and Temkin) have been revealed that the Freundlich model was followed and that the Langmuir model did not match, as well as the partial applicability of Temkin's model at temperatures (298,308,318) K. The process of adsorption is a physical one. Three kinetic models of the adsorption process were also used, with the results demonstrating the applicability of the pseud
