Investments in ownership of agricultural machinery services and access to them, especially for small-scale farmers, may not be the minimum cost option in comparison with hiring these required services through oral or written agricultural hire contracts. The main objective of this research is to test whether the custom hiring status of agricultural machinery services is better for selected sample in comparison with the other potential alternatives. The theoretical framework based on the financial approach of engineering costs analysis of agricultural machineries services, to calculate discounted cash flows. The data were collected by using cross- section data in rice production farms in Alnajaf Al-ashraf province during 2015 farmi

The problem of the study is the low productivity of wheat crop and its failure to achieve levels comparable to global and regional productivity. As long as it represents a permanent problem, this calls for concern that casts a shadow on other aspects such as self-sufficiency in this crop and endangering food security at risk. The results showed a continued decrease in the productivity of the wheat crop due to the su

Small scale silages were prepared from barley forage and four yeast levels were evaluated (0 (control), 5, 10 and 15 g/kg FM). Silos were opened at 6, 12 and 24 days. Three silage-replicates were prepared for each yeast level × ensiling time combination. Silage quality in terms of CP and NDF and ADF concentration appeared to improve when yeast was added at 5 and 10 g/kg, compared with the control, but the quality decreased again when 15 g yeast/kg FM were aded to the silage. However, gas production, metabolisable energy and organic matter digestibility linearl
