This experiment was conducted in the lathhouse of the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Gardening, College of Agriculture, University of Baghdad to study the effect of two nutrition compounds called Cytojeep and Florin on the vegetative and flowering characters of Pansy (Viola tricolor) during the fall season of 2016. Plants were planted in 20 cm/diameter pots and sprayed two times with different concentrations of Cytojeep 0, 0.5, and 1 ml.L-1 and Florin 0, 0.15, and 0.30 ml.L-1 started after one month of planting with 21 days intervals. The length of the two periods of production adequacy and coverage of imports for local consumption of wheat and the stability of these periods were estimated. The period of the annual change in the rate of self-sufficiency, the per capita share and the gap between the per capita share and the need for wheat in Iraq for the period 1990-2015was estimated. It was found that the rate of self-sufficiency of the wheat crop was 54%. ... Show MoreIn order to evaluate soybeans genotypes in two locations, five selected in sixth generation of selection were used with nursery in Baghdad, using RCBD with three replication. The results raveled superiority of selected promising genotypes in growth duration, flowers, plant height and number of branches, and yield component, as a number of plant bodes, 100 seed weight and number of seeds in bodes, especially genotype C, which produced seeds yield (2758 kg h-1). Genotypes D was the best in oil content (23.05%), while B genotype was highest in protein content (43.9%) compare with local variety, which gave lower values for all growth traits, when grown in different environments.
