Hormonal Changes in a Sample of Iraqi Women and their Relationship to Liver Dysfunction
...Show More Authors

There are numerous bidirectional interactions between the reproductive system and the liver. Sex steroids regulate metabolic health through signaling effects in both peripheral and central metabolic tissues, including adipose tissue, liver, skeletal muscle, and brain, and have a role in the etiology of structural and functional liver diseases. Blood samples were obtained from 90 healthy women (control group) and 90 women that have hormonal changes (patients’ group). The levels of reproductive hormones (follicle stimulation hormone/FSH, luteinizing hormone/LH, estradiol/E2, progesterone/P4) were measured by using fully automated Cobas E411, whereas those of liver enzymes (alanine transaminase /ALT, aspartate aminotransferase/AST, alkali

Bifurcation and Stability Analysis of Stagnation Point for Fluid Flow in an Inclined Channel with Inclined Magnetic Field for Peristaltic Transport
...Show More Authors

Streamlined peristaltic transport patterns, bifurcations of equilibrium points, and effects of an inclined magnetic field and channel are shown in this study. The incompressible fluid has been the subject of the model's investigation. The Reynolds values for evanescence and an infinite wavelength are used to constrain the flow while it is being studied in a slanted channel with a slanted magnetic field. The topologies over their domestic and cosmopolitan bifurcations are investigated for the outcomes, and notion of the dynamical system are employed. The Mathematica software is used to solve the nonlinear autonomous system. The flow is found to have three different flow distributions namely augmented, trapping and backward flow. Outcomes

The lipid profile and adipokines of an adolescent may be affected by some parasite infections. Recently, it has been discovered that these parasites are connected to body mass index (BMI), lipids and adipokines. The current study, therefore, aimed to specify how Toxoplasma gondii (T. gondii) affect BMI, lipid profile and adipokines. This study was conducted in Al Madain hospital, Baghdad from October to December 2022. An ELISA test was performed to examine the anti-T. gondii IgG and IgM for a group of adolescents attending the hospital. Based on this examination ninety adolescents were chosen to be involved in the study. They were separated in to two groups: individuals who tested positive for the parasite (n=45) and those who tested neg

Replacing the Content in e-Abacus Diagram II
...Show More Authors

In our normal life, we sometimes need a process of replacing something with another to get out of the stereotype. From this point of view, Mahmood’s attempted in the year 2020 to replace the content in the first main e-abacus diagram. He found the general rule for finding the value of the new partition after the replacement from the original partition. Here we raise the question: Can we find the appropriate mechanisms for the remainder of the main e-abacus diagram?

Novel Dynamic S-Box Based on Password Key and Circle Map
...Show More Authors

Many cryptosystems and security techniques use substitution boxes to ensure the data’s secure communication. A new technique is presented for generating a robust S-box to fulfill security requirements. The AES algorithm represents a block cipher cryptographic algorithm. It was selected by the National Institute of Science and Technology as the optimal cryptographic algorithm in 2011. Through the study of the properties of original S-BOX, this algorithm has been subjected to a number of attacks (linear, differential, statistical, and interpolation), and original S-BOX has been static, which makes the attack strong and shows a weakness in the algorithm.  It is necessary to make this algorithm more efficient and powerful through

Self-Interference Cancellation Techniques for In-Band Full-Duplex Wireless Communication Systems: A Review
...Show More Authors

In-Band Full-Duplex (IBFD) systems have the capability of simultaneously transmitting and receiving signals through the channel and require the same resources as half-duplex systems. Unfortunately, IBFD systems have self-interference (SI) issues that prevent the system from gaining double throughput with respect to half-duplex systems. Therefore, the IBFD system will be more reliable if SI is mitigated more. This contribution will look at SI cancellation in wireless radio and underwater acoustic systems. The reviewed documents cover all types of SI cancellations, including passive, analog, and digital cancellations. In a practical full-duplex system, the SI cancellation for all domains must cancel the SI below the receiver noi

of the thermal band. In this paper, we present some comparisons between Landsat-7
ETM+ and Landsat-5 TM imagery in order to quantify these improvements. Practically,
we find that the ETM+ continues the record of TM observations, and, in many respects,
substantially improves upon the earlier sensor. Specific improvements include lower

A STOCHASTIC APPROXIMATION-ITERATIVE LEAST SQUARES ESTIMATION PROCEDURE
...Show More Authors

We consider the general nonlinear regression problem . A
survey of some classical methods and stochastic approximation procedures for
estimating is first given. We solve the nonlinear regression problem by
considering the optimal stochastic approximation procedure by [3],[4]. This leads us
to introduce a new procedure , called "Stochastic Approximation Iterative Least
Square Procedure" SA -ILS procedure. The new procedure is applied to a number of
nonlinear regression models. We report on the results of a simulation investigation
which indicate that the new procedure is highly efficient with respect to the number
of observations required to obtain the parameter estimates for given regression
problem.

In this work, lead oxide (PbO) thin films were deposited using D.C. sputtering method on a surface of glass substrates and then thermally annealed at a temperature of 473K with annealing times of (1,2 and 3) hours. The structural, morphological, and optical properties of films were determined using X-ray diffraction (XRD), atomic force microscopy (AFM), FT-IR, and UV-Visible spectroscopy. The structure studies confirmed that PbO films are polycrystalline structures in an orthorhombic phase with average grain size (24.51, 29.64, 46.49, 16) nm with increasing annealing time. From AFM, the roughness of the film surface  (3.26, 1.76, 1.61, 1.79) nm as the film annealing time increases. The optical band gap values of the PbO thin fi

In this paper we present a study on Peristaltic of fractional generalized Maxwell viscoelastic fluid through a porous medium. A modified Darcy-Brinkman model is utilized to simulate the flow of a generalized Maxwell fluid in a porous medium in an inclined channel with slip effect. The governing equation is simplified by assuming long wavelength and low Reynolds number approximations. The numerical and approximate analytical solutions of the problem are obtained by a semi-numerical technique, namely the homotopy perturbation method. The influence of the dominating physical parameters such as fractional Maxwell parameter, relaxation time, amplitude ratio, permeability parameter, Froude number, Reynolds number and inclination of channel on

Text Hiding in Color Images Using the Secret Key Transformation Function in GF (2n)
...Show More Authors

Steganography is one of the most popular techniques for data hiding in the different media such as images, audio or video files. This paper introduced the improved technique to hide the secret message using the LSB algorithm inside the RGB true color image by encrypting it using the secret key transformation function. The key is selecting randomly in the GF (2n) with condition it has an inverse value to retrieve the encrypted message. Only two bits are used for the low byte in each pixel (the blue byte) to hide the secret message, since the blue color has a weak effect on human eyes. The message hidden by the suggested algorithm is less vulnerable to be stolen than other similar applications.

On A Modified SP-Iterative Scheme for Approximating Fixed Point of A Contraction Mapping
...Show More Authors

In this paper, we will show that the Modified SP iteration can be used to approximate fixed point of contraction mappings under certain condition. Also, we show that this iteration method is faster than Mann, Ishikawa, Noor, SP, CR, Karahan iteration methods. Furthermore, by using the same condition, we shown that the Picard S- iteration method converges faster than Modified SP iteration and hence also faster than all Mann, Ishikawa, Noor, SP, CR, Karahan iteration methods. Finally, a data dependence result is proven for fixed point of contraction mappings with the help of the Modified SP iteration process.
