A Development of an IoT-Based Healthcare System Using Distributed Blockchain Technology
...Show More Authors

Modern healthcare systems have two main sections: electronic health records (EHRs) and remote patient monitoring (RPM). With these sections, several issues have arisen related to comprehensiveness, which these sections lack in covering all the data information about the patient’s state, and other issues in privacy and security. Many types of research have been presented to solve these issues or mitigate their effects. One of these ideas is to use blockchain technology. However, some research may not utilize this technique properly, where data comprehensiveness problems remain and the preservation of individual nodes' data may be compromised. This paper introduces a new system called Patient Health Record (PHR), which will provide compr

Dynamics of a Delayed Prey-Predator System With Crowley-Martin Functional Response
...Show More Authors

ln this paper, an ecological predator-prey model with time delay is proposed and studied analytically and numerically. The stability and bifurcation analysis of the proposed model with a Crowley-Martin response function are covered in this article. In the beginning, equilibrium points of the proposed model are identified. Secondly, the local asymptotic stability of the equilibria and Hopf-bifurcation are discussed by the characteristic equations of the system. Finally, by creating a suitable Lyapunov function and LaSalle’s invariance principle, the equilibria's global asymptotic stability is examined.

I-ω^*-Continuous and I-ω^*- Open Functions
...Show More Authors

In ideal topological space, we define and study a new class of functions known as I-ω^*-continuous functions by using  I-ω^*-open sets. This idea is stronger than each of the classes (ω-continuous,  ωb-continous,  α-I_ω-continuous,  pre-I_ω-continuous,  β-I_ω-continuous, faintly- ω-continuous, slightly- ω-continuous, 〖 I〗_ω-c-continuous).  Furthermore, relationships between this class and other relevant classes of functions are investigated, and some characterizations of this new class of functions are studied. Finally, we introduce the  I-ω^*- open function as an extension of the ω- open function through I-ω^*-open sets, and some results are provided.

Using Schottky Arc-plasma for Modelling the Cathode Temperatures of Various Materials at High Pressure
...Show More Authors

Theoretical investigation for cathodes of different metals, including hafnium (Hf), niobium (Nb), tungsten (W), and molybdenum (Mo) were used. It was noticed that the plasma energy at the cathode (Hf) has a higher value than that at the cathode metal because the energy losses of electrons for (Hf) are less due to inelastic collisions. As for the energy of electrons, their value for the metal (Hf) is also higher than of the other metals, and the reason is that the energy is proportional to the temperature according to the equation: (E = 3/2 KT). It was also noted that the energy of ions for all metals is almost equal at temperature (Tw≅4000K) due to energy losses due to elastic and inelastic collisions, this leads to a state of saturati

Some Geometric Properties of Close- to- Convex Functions
...Show More Authors

The objective of this paper is to present some geometric properties of the close to convex function  f when f is an analytic, univalent self-conformal mapping defined in the open unit disk D={z∈C: |z|<1},  and on the boundary of D. One of the goals of this work was determining the sharp bound for the function of form  f(z)=z/(1-z)^2δ   , 0<δ<1, when R(f^'/g^' (w_1))≥-2+δ/w_1   , for a some w_1∈∂D And  another, if f has angular limit at  p∈∂D . Then the inequality |(f^' (z))/(g^' (z) )|≥(-(1-2δ))/2(1+ δ)    is sharp with extremal functions  f(z)=z/(1-z)^2δ   , and   g(z)=z/(1+z), where 0<δ<1. Finally, if  f  is extended continuously to the boundary of D , then  |  (f^'/g^' )(p)|≥

Enhancing Robustness and Imperceptibility with a Texture-Based Adaptive QIM Approach
...Show More Authors

This paper proposes a new approach for image data hiding that aims to improve both robustness and imperceptibility. The proposed approach is based on a texture-adaptive quantization index modulation (QIM) method that takes into account the local characteristics of the image texture to optimize the embedding process. The approach is evaluated using various image datasets and compared to existing state-of-the-art techniques. The results show that the proposed approach achieves better performance in terms of robustness against various image processing attacks, with BERs of zero in some attacks, while maintaining a high level of imperceptibility with PSNRs exceeding 46 decibels. It can be deduced that adaptation and normalization

Speech Isolation and Recognition in Crowded Noise Using a Dual-Path Recurrent Neural Network
...Show More Authors

Speech separation is crucial for effective speech processing in multi-talker conditions, especially in real-time, low-latency applications. In this study, the Time-Domain Audio Separation Network (TasNet) and Dual-Path Recurrent Neural Network were used to perform a time-domain multiple-speaker speech separation challenge. One-dimensional conventional recurrent neural networks (RNNs) are not capable of accurately simulating long sequences. When their receptive length exceeds the sequence field, 1-D CNNs cannot recreate utterance-level sequences. Dual-Path Recurrent Neural Network (DPRNN) breaks up the lengthy sequential input that progressively performs intra- and inter-chunk operations with input lengths proportional to the square root

This paper describes a hybrid grayscale compression system based on the discrete wavelet transform (DWT) and a polynomial coding technique for mixing quantization schemes to increase the compression ratio while maintaining quality. The proposed compression system consists of three main steps: first, decomposing an image using a three-level DWT; second, applying the 2-D linear polynomial coding technique to the approximation sub-band; and third, dividing the detailed sub-bands of each level into the Most Significant Value (MSV) and Least Significant Value (LSV), where the former is compressed using iterative scalar uniform quantization and the latter by soft quantization thresholding. For testing the performance of the suggested compressi

On Efficient Method For Fractional-Order Two-Dimensional Navier-Stokes Equations
...Show More Authors

For the solution of fractional-order two-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations (FOTDNSEs), the current work proposes a novel variant of the Laplace Adomian decomposition approach with the Atangana-Baleanu fractional operator in the Caputo sense (ABCFO). In this approach, the solution is considered as a Taylor series expansion that converges rapidly to the exact solution. Only two components are required for the new approximation analytical technique. When compared to other strategies, the current method is very simple, requires less calculation, and is extremely accurate.

Review: Noise Reduction Techniques for Enhancing Speech
...Show More Authors

Speech is a signal produced by humans to interact and communicate. Different information is gained from speech signals, such as the language being spoken, emotion, gender, speaker identification, and other information. Speech signals are exposed to different noises, which can be generated at the beginning of the speech or during the transmission. Due to this problem, noise reduction processes are an interesting field in different communication application systems that cultivate the intelligibility and quality of speech signals. It refers to removing or reducing the background noise in order to obtain an improved quality of the original speech signal without distorting the original (clean) signal.
