In this paper an improved weighted 0-1 knapsack method (WKM) is proposed to optimize the resource allocation process when the sum of items' weight exceeds the knapsack total capacity .The improved method depends on a modified weight for each item to ensure the allocation of the required resources for all the involved items. The results of the improved WKM are compared to the traditional 0-1 Knapsack Problem (KP). The proposed method dominates on the other one in term of the total optimal solution value of the knapsack .

A total of 1712 samples of children feces were collected from the Central Child Hospital and examined by direct and concentration methods (zinc sulfate and sucrose) during the period from 01/10/2011 to 19/10/2012. The ages of children were ranging between one month and 15 years.The results of the current study showed that the rate of infection overall was 18.72% and there was a variation in the infection rate between the age groups, reaching the highest incidence in the age group (1- 5 years old). This study was aimed to treat the hydatid disease that caused by the larval stage of
Echinococcus granulosus using two water plant extracts (leaves of Myrtus communis,
seeds of Nigella sativa). The effect of these extracts had been studied on the viability of
E. granulosus protoscolices in vitro using five concentrations of each of them ranging
between ( 30,35,40,45,50)mg\ml for the plants extracts, The preliminary results revealed
that M. communis extract was the most effective in killing the protoscolices in vitr than
N.sativa in comparison to the control group.

In this study we synthesized the new compounds containing bis-1,3,4-thiadiazole
3(A-D)n through many eaction steps (cyclization, diazotiazation and etherification
respectively). The compounds have been characterized by melting point, FTIR and
1HNMR data. All the synthesized compounds have been evaluated in vitro for their
antimicrobial activities against several microbes like: Escherichia coli, Klebsiellia
pneumonia, Pseudomonas aerugenosa, Serratia marscens and Staphylococcus aureus

The study revealed that the sandstone is litharenite consists of 45.56% rock fragments, 22.13% quartz and 8.5% feldspars. The matrix is about 8.39%, consisting of silt and clay particles. The cement is variable (carbonates 8.42%, evaporites 1.78% and iron oxides 0.96%). The grain assemblage infers that the source of the rock fragments is nearby. and Lactobacillus rhomunas on the body weight and lipid metabolism on obese rats
were evaluated. In the body weight, the results showed significant deference

Thirty pregnant albino mice with average body weight of 25-30gm and 8-14 weeks old were used to investigate the toxicity of the oral administration of anticancer methotrexate on kidneys after birth. Pregnant were received (single dose) of drug at different days of gestation and were divided into three groups (10mice / group), control groups were administered distilled water, the two remaining groups were administered by 2.5 and 7.5 mg/kg body weight of methotrexate. The changes in kidneys of newborns revealed significant (p<0.05) decrease in kidneys weights, kidneys lengths, pelvises lengths, and glomeruli diameters. The increase in concentration of methotrexate has increasing significant effect on kidneys of embryo and newborns.

   The aim of this paper is to determine the capability of the ultrasonic technique to predicate and evaluate some elastic and geotechnical properties within sand stone layers. For this purpose, 15 rock samples were collected from Tanjero Formation that is exposed in Dokan area, northeastern Iraq. Elastic wave velocities (Vp and Vs)  and density (P) values for rock samples were determined by applying laboratory testing. From Vp, Vs, and density values, the porosity, elastic modulus, and some geotechnical parameters were calculated.
