In the current study, 2D seismic data in west An-Najaf (WN-36 line) were received after many steps of processing by Oil Exploration Company in 2018. Surface Consistent Amplitude Compensation (SCAC) was applied on the seismic data. The processing sequence in our study started by sorting data in a common mid-point (CMP) gather, in order to apply the velocity analysis using Interactive Velocity Analysis Application (INVA) with Omega system. Semblance of velocity was prepared to preform normal move-out (NMO) vs. Time. Accurate root mean square velocity (VRMS) was selected, which was controlled by flatness of the primary events. The resultant seismic velocity section for the study area shows that the veloci

Although no surface water is available in this area, the groundwater is considered the basis in the area, it is available in both good quality and quantity. For that reason, it is of prime importance to examine water type in the unconfined aquifer to determine suitability of groundwater for irrigation purposes. The groundwater type in the studied area is Ca-Mg dominant SO4 facies according to Piper and Stiff diagrams. Based on SAR, Na%, RSC, EC, and PI, the groundwater quality in the study area is suitable for irrigation in general.
For the period from February 2014 till May 2014, one hundred and nine lactose fermenter clinical isolates from different samples (urine, stool, wound swab, blood, and sputum) were collected from Alyarmok, Alkadimiya, and Baghdad teaching hospitals at Baghdad governorate. Identification of all Klebsiella pneumoniae isolates were carried out depending on macroscopic, microscopic characterizations, conventional biochemical tests, and Api 20E system. Fifty-three (48.62%) isolates represented K. pneumoniae; however, 51.73% represented other bacteria. Susceptibility test was achieved to all fifty-three K. pneumoniae isolates using five antibiotic disks (Ceftazidime, Ceftriaxone, Cefotaxime, Imipenem, and Meropenem). Most of tested isolates (90

Medical image analysis has great significance in the field of treatment, especially
in non-invasive and clinical studies. Medical imaging techniques and it analysis and
diagnoses analysis tools enable the physicians and Radiologists to reach at a specific

on statistical futures has been introduced to segment the brain’s MR image tissues.
The proposed system used two stages for extracting the image texture features. The

The aim of this paper is to study the combined effects of the concentration and the thermo-diffusion on the unsteady oscillation flow of an incompressible Carreau fluid through an inclined porous channel. The temperature is assumed to affect exponentially the fluid's viscosity. We studied fluid flow in an inclined channel under the non-slip condition at the wall. We used the perturbation series method to solve the nonlinear partial differential equations. Numerical results were obtained for velocity distribution, and through the graphs, it was found that the velocity of fluid has a direct relation with Soret number, Peclet number, and Grashof number, while it has a reverse variation with chemical reaction, Schmidt number, frequency of os

In the year 2019, Mahmood and Mahmood presented the idea of merging more than two plans, and then the following question was raised: Is the process of separating any somewhat large diagram into smaller schemes possible? The general formula to split e-abacus diagram into two or more equal or unequal parts was achieved in this study now.
In this paper, an approximation technique is introduced to solve the coupled linear parabolic boundary value problems with variable coefficients by using mixed of the Galerkin finite element method in space variable with implicit finite difference method in the time variable. At any discrete time this technique is transformed the coupled linear parabolic boundary value problems with variable coefficients into a linear algebraic system which is called a Galerkin a linear algebraic system, and then it is solved using the Cholesky Decomposition. Illustration examples are presented and the results are shown by figures and tables, and show the efficiency of the proposed method.
Classification accuracy is strongly affected by the quality of the input features. In recent years, datasets have increased in size and number of features. Analysis of huge datasets can be challenging due to redundant, noisy, and irrelevant features that may
reduce the classifier's performance. Feature selection is a vital process in which the best subset of features from the original dataset is chosen. The feature selection strategy is critical for increasing classification accuracy while decreasing computational costs. This research proposed a method for classifying lip print images by exploiting meta-heuristic methods and optimization-based feature selection methods. It involves four main phases: pre-processing, feature extractio
Twenty species were isolated from wounds’ swabs. The most common bacterial species were Pseudomonas aeruginosa (8), Staphylococcus aureus (5), Escherichia coli (5) and S. epidermidis (2). These isolates underwent tests for biofilm formation and susceptibility to ten different antibiotic discs. Most isolates exhibited resistance to amikacin, aztreonam, and carbenicillin. However, they showed some sensitivity to ciprofloxacin, norfloxacin and imipenem. This study found out that all isolates were different in biofilm formation (weak, moderate, strong), except two isolates of E. coli. The determination of β-glucan effects produced by S. cerevisiae against multi-antibiotic resistant wound infection bacteria, were conducted through the Mini

Results indicate that these sand dunes in the study area are mainly composed of coarse particles such as sand (especially fine sand) with a percentage more than fine particles (mud), and the fine sand fraction is the predominant class. The Diffie-Hellman algorithm is used to generate the initial values of a chaotic map by exchanging public keys. The image encryption process is carried out using a chaotic map, in which a random sequence of the same length as the image to be encrypted is generated using the standard map, and then bitwise XOR is used to create confusion in the image's pixels. Also, an Arnold cat map is used to change the location of pixels and diffusion in them is obtained. Gray images

The dynamic analysis of the model is devoted to locating all possible equilibrium points. The analysis demonstrates that three equilibrium positions are possible. The existence of the Hopf-bifurcation for the interior equilibrium is investigated using the phytoplankton's photosynthesis-produced oxygen rate as the bifurcation parameter. Conditions for stable limit cycles are obtained. In conclusion, a numerical simulation is shown as evidence to support the analytic results.

Cracking of soils affects their geotechnical properties and behavior such as soil strength and stability. In this paper, 2D Electrical Resistivity Imaging Method, as a non-invasive technique, was adopted to investigate the effect of soil cracks of a centemetric scale on resistivity of sandy soil. The electrical resistivity measurements were carried out using ABEM SAS 300C Terrameter system at a laboratory scale using Wenner array. The measurements were interpreted using horizontal profiles, forward modeling and 2D inverse resistivity sections. The results showed that soil cracks cause significant changes in soil resistivity. These changes can be attributed to the high resistivity contrast between the highly resistive air-filled cracks an
