Four types of surfactants derivatives of phthalic anhydride and alkyl amines consist of different length of hydrocarbon chains were prepared. The prepared surfactants were characterized by Infrared spectrophotometer and CHN analysis. The physical properties of the prepared de-emulsifiers were measured i.e. (pH, density, viscosity, CMC, molar conductivity and flash point). The efficiency of the prepared de-emulsifiers were studied with time and long side chain substituted. The hydrophilic-lipophilic balance (HLB) was calculated. Three sites at the Al-aaras tourist island lake were selected to study the physicochemical
characters and epipelic algal communities . Monthly samples for 12 month
were taken starting January 2009 . It was found that the lake is alkaline , well
oxygenated ,oligohaline with low electrical conductivity and hard water . The
concentration of reactive nitrite ( NO3) were available and low concentration of
reactive phosphate ( PO 4 ) . A total of 67 taxa were identified dominated by
Bacillariophyceae ( 65.7 % ) followed by Cyanophyceae ( 16.4 % ) and
Chlorophyceae ( 13.4 % ) . Clear seasonal variations in the total density of epipelic
algae were found at different studied sites with a binomial pattern at

In vitro test has been made to find out the efficacy of aqueous and ethanolic extract of Peganum harmala seeds against Entamoeba histolytica in three concentrations (1000, 1500, 2000 μg/ml) in an exposure time of 2hrs, preliminary chemical analysis has been performed for some chemical groups which may exist in the seeds.
Results showed that all concentrations of alcohol extracts caused high mortality against parasite by using the alcohol extract in all used concentrations, this may due to the high containing of alkaloids. The highest mortality percentage achieved by alcohol extract was 97.5% while it was 90.1% by aqueous extract at 2000 μg/ml.

In this paper, a numerical approximation for a time fractional one-dimensional bioheat equation (transfer paradigm) of temperature distribution in tissues is introduced. It deals with the Caputo fractional derivative with order for time fractional derivative and new mixed nonpolynomial spline for second order of space derivative. We also analyzed the convergence and stability by employing Von Neumann method for the present scheme.
Some microorganisms, including fungi, are characterized by their removal efficiency and reducing the concentrations of heavy metals such as Pb and Cr from industrial water. The present study aims to estimate the efficiency of Penicillium digitatum (Pers.) Sacc. as a low-cost biosorbent in reducing Pb and Cr from industrial water with optimum biosorption conditions (acidity of 1.5 , 4, and 5; temperature of 30 °C). The Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) analysis was also used for determining the roles of the functional groups in this biosorbent. The results indicated that the highest P. digitatum efficiency values for reducing the levels of Pb and Cr were 84% and 70% , respectively, at pH of 5 after 24 h.

A total of 44 patients and 55 apparently healthy volunteers were genotyped for the SNP using polymerase chain reaction test. Three genotypes (GG, GT, and TT) corresponding to two alleles (G and T) were found to have SNP. Both study groups’ genotypes had a good agreement for the analysis of Hardy-Weinberg Equilibrium. Density and gamma ray logs were cross-plotted and the seismic section was subdivided vertically into different seismic facies. The delineated lithologies, from well logs were correlated with seismic facies signatures using lines of intersection across the wells.
