Visual media is a better way to deliver the information than the old way of "reading". For that reason with the wide propagation of multimedia websites, there are large video library’s archives, which came to be a main resource for humans. This research puts its eyes on the existing development in applying classical phrase search methods to a linked vocal transcript and after that it retrieves the video, this an easier way to search any visual media. This system has been implemented using JSP and Java language for searching the speech in the videos

Adaptive Motion Compensated Spatial Temporal Filter of Colonoscopy Video
...Show More Authors

Colonoscopy is a popular procedure which is used to detect an abnormality. Early diagnosis can help to heal many patients. The purpose of this paper is removing/reducing some artifacts to improve the visual quality of colonoscopy videos to provide better information for physicians. This work complements a series of work consisting of three previously published papers. In this paper, optic flow is used for motion compensation, where a number of consecutive images are registered to integrate some information to create a new image that has/reveals more information than the original one. Colon images were classified into informative and noninformative images by using a deep neural network. Then, two different strategies were use

Background: Ischemic heart disease is a major cause of the diastolic heart failure. Risk of heart failures was increased with microvascular coronary disease, which is characterized by left ventricular stiffness  with impaired relaxation and reduced compliance. Aim of this study is to estimate the effect of the severity of myocardium ischemia on the left ventricle ejection fraction and left ventricular volume using SPECT with 99mTc MIBI and to compare the results  with the echocardiography. The study included 117 subjects with ischemic heart disease were examined using SPECT and echocardiography techniques. The following

MRI Probabilistic Neural Network Screening System: a benign and malignant recognition case study
...Show More Authors

This work is aimed to design a system which is able to diagnose two types of tumors in a human brain (benign and malignant), using curvelet transform and probabilistic neural network. Our proposed method follows an approach in which the stages are preprocessing using Gaussian filter, segmentation using fuzzy c-means and feature extraction using curvelet transform. These features are trained and tested the probabilistic neural network. Curvelet transform is to extract the feature of MRI images. The proposed screening technique has successfully detected the brain cancer from MRI images of an almost 100% recognition rate accuracy.

VIDAS TEST OF IgG AVIDITY FOR DETECTION OF ACUTETOXOPLASMOSIS IN THE EARLY PREGNANCY
...Show More Authors

Toxoplasmosis is usually asymptomatic, but can have severe consequences if it occurs in immunodeficient subject or fetuses. The diagnosis of toxoplasmosis during pregnancy is often based on maternal serological testing for IgM and IgG anti- Toxoplasma antibodies. Persistence of IgM for long periods, posses’ problems in distinguishing acute from chronic infection. The evaluation of specific IgG avidity enables more accurate dating, since avidity rises progressively during the course of infection.
Seventy six women in the first 16 weeks of pregnancy were screened for VIDAS IgM, IgG antibodies and VIDAS toxo-IgG avidity. Low avidity antibodies were demonstrated in 2 (33.3%) of 6 sera positive with IgM assay and 4 (12.12%) of sera pos

In this paper, ferric oxide nanoparticles) Fe2O3 NPs( were synthesized directly on a quartz substrate in vacuum by pulse laser deposition technique using Nd:YAG laser at different energies (171, 201,363 mJ/pulse). The slides were then heated to 700o C for 1 hour. The structural, optical, morphological, and electrical properties were studied. The optical properties indicated that the prepared thin films have an energy gap ranging from 2.28 to 2.04 eV. The XRD results showed no lattice impurities for other iron oxide phases, confirming that all particles were transformed into the α-Fe2O3 phase during the heating process. The AFM results indicated the dependence of nanoparticles size o

SIMULATION OF IMAGING EXTRASOLAR PLANETS NEARBYSTAR

Two-dimensional computer simulations are carried out to demonstrate the
essential features of observing extrasolar planet nearby star. It has been shown that
the wings of the point spread function of the optical telescope play an important rule
in suppressing the features that related to the planet. The planet lies beneath these
wings and the final image that recorded by an optical telescope looks like a star.
Quantitative assessment of observing planet nearby star at different relative
brightness and separation are demonstrated in this study.

cancerous tumor because of its ability to control cell growth.
The amount of radiation used in photon radiation therapy called dose (measured

In our work, we studied the dose distribution given to the tumor at different
depths (zero-20 cm) treated with different field size (4×4- 23×23 cm).
Results show that the deeper treated area has less dose rate at the same beam
quality and quantity. Also it has been noted increasing in the field increasing in the
depth dose at the same depth even if the radiation energy is constant. Increasing in

Thin Lithium Fluoride films have been prepared by thermal evaporation technique on glass substrate under vacuum of about 10-5mbar. The thickness of the films was 4000±50Å. The effects of annealing temperatures on the optical properties and dispersion parameters have been studies. Transmittance spectra of the films indicate that the films have high transparency. The optical absorption studies reveal that the transition is direct with band gap value varied with the annealing temperatures. Also the refractive index dispersion curves obey to the single oscillator's model. The dispersion energy and single-oscillator energy varied with the annealing temperatures

CALCULATIONS OF (γ-n) REACTION CROSS-SECTION AND GAMMA RAY INCINERATION OF 144Ce, 144Nd, 151Sm AND 155Eu

The evaluation of the (γ,n) cross section for radioactive fission products has been done in the present paper. The current research deals with heavy isotopes resulting from fission reactor, namely, 144Ce, 144Nd, 151Sm and 155Eu. The range of energy lays in the region of energy near the giant dipole resonance, from the threshold energy up to around 30 MeV. The present radioactive isotopes were chosen as part of the radioactive waste from 235U fission. Total cross section results then were found and calculated, and used to calculate the number of incinerated nuclei. By varying the gamma-ray fluxes and repeating the calculations, the present method shows efficiency in reducing the radioactivity of these isotopes. The results given in the p
