Synthesis and study liquid crystalline properties of novel Benzimidazol-8-hydroxyquinoline complexes by reaction of a-Chloro acetic acid with 3,3'-dimethylbiphenyl-4,4'-diamine in 10% aqueous sodium hydroxide to synthesized compound [I] then the later compound reacted with o-phenylenediamine in 4N Hydrochloric acid to synthesized compound N4,N4'-bis((1H-benzo[d]imidazol-2-yl)methyl)-3,3'-dimethyl-[1,1'-biphenyl]-4,4'-diamine =[II] . While the complexes [III],[IV],[V],[VI] and [VII] synthesized from reacted compound [II] , 8-hydroxyquinoline with metal(II) salts { M= Mn(II), Fe(II), Ni (II), Cu(II),and Zn(II)}. The compounds [I],[II],[III] and [IV] showed liquid crystal behavior , while the others compounds [V] ,[VI] and [VII] did not show any mesomorphic phase . Spectral investigations suggested octahedral coordination geometrical arrangement for M (II) complexes.
Background: Computerized tomography scan can show the detailed anatomy of the nose and paranasal sinuses. The sphenoid sinus is a very important corridor for the skull base because of its central position. This sinus has a great range of variation and can put structures around at risk during surgery. This study aims to examine the variation of the sphenoid sinus, and its relation to other structures around it, in this sample of Iraqi patients. It is believed that Organizations around the world should be prepared for the transition to IPv6 and make sure they have the " know how" to be able to succeed in choosing the right migration to start time. This paper focuses on the transition to IPv6 mechanisms. Also, this paper proposes and tests a deployment of IPv6 prototype within the intranet of the University of Baghdad (BUniv) using virtualization software. Also, it deals with security issues, improvements and extensions of IPv6 network using firewalls, Virtual Private Network ( VPN), Access list ( ACLs). Finally, the performance of the obtainable intrusion detection model is assessed and compared with three approaches.
The present work aims to improve the flux of forward osmosis with the use of Thin Film Composite membrane by reducing the effect of polarization on draw solution (brine solution) side.This study was conducted in two parts. The first is under the effect of polarization in which the flux and the water permeability coefficient (A) were calculated. In the second part of the study the experiments were repeated using a circulating pump at various speeds to make turbulence and reduce the effect of polarization on the brine solution side.

The influence of an aortic aneurysm on blood flow waveforms is well established, but how to exploit this link for diagnostic purposes still remains challenging. This work uses a combination of experimental and computational modelling to study how aneurysms of various size affect the waveforms. Experimental studies are carried out on fusiform-type aneurysm models, and a comparison of results with those from a one-dimensional fluid–structure interaction model shows close agreement. Further mathematical analysis of these results allows the definition of several indicators that characterize the impact of an aneurysm on waveforms. An experimental model is used to simulate the loss of soil lateral confinement due to excavation nearby an individual axially loaded pile. The effects of various parameters, such as the horizontal distance of excavation, depth of excavation and pile slenderness ratios are investigated. A new efficient Two Derivative Runge-Kutta method (TDRK) of order five is developed for the numerical solution of the special first order ordinary differential equations (ODEs). The new method is derived using the property of First Same As Last (FSAL). We analyzed the stability of our method. The numerical results are presented to illustrate the efficiency of the new method in comparison with some well-known RK methods.
