Silver nanoparticles (Ag-NPs) have been prepared using the electro-chemical
method. The experimental setup of this technique consist of two electrodes of pure
silver (99.2 %), the applied voltage on the electrodes is 20 V and the current through
the colloidal was about 0.4 Amp. The silver nanoparticles crystallization has been
studied; the crystalline structure appears Face center Cubic. The optical properties of
silver nanoparticles are strongly affected by the Local Surface Plasmon Resonance
(LSPR). The wavelength of maximum absorption band for an Ag NPs have a range
(~350nm-550nm).

       Thin films of pure yttrium oxide (Y₂O₃) and doped with cerium oxide (CeO₂) were prepared by the chemical spray pyrolysis(CSP)method. The structural, optical and electrical properties of the prepared films were investigated. Burnishing improves fatigue strength, surface hardness and decrease surface roughness of metal because this process transforms tensile residual stresses into compressive residual stresses. Roller burnishing tool is used in the present work on low carbon steel (AISI 1008) specimens. In this work, different experiments were used to study the influence of feed parameter and speed parameter in burnishing process on fatigue strength, surface roughness and surface hardness of low carbon steel (AISI 1008) specimens.                This paper studies the effect of the solar indices (total sunspot no., solar wind density and coronal mass ejection linear speed) on F₂- layer electron density, as well as, the comparison of seasonal variations of electron density of F₂- layer, N_mF₂, for Mars at local noontime and for maximum and minimum solar cycles.                  

 Results show that there is an inverse correlation between sunspot number, solar wind density, CME linear speed and ionosphere electron density for Mars, at maximum and minimum solar cycles. This correlation is clear when electron density is at minimum value.

Background This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of once-daily liraglutide as an add-on to oral antidiabetics (OADs) on glycemic control and body weight in obese patients with inadequately controlled type 2 diabetes (T2D). Methods A total of 27 obese T2D patients who received 7 months (0.6 mg/day for the first month, 1.2 mg/day for 3 months, and 1.8 mg/day for 3 months) of liraglutide treatment as an add-on to OADs were included.
