Introduction: Diabetic foot infections are one of the most severe complications of diabetes. This study was aimed to determine the common bacterial isolates of diabetic foot infections and the in vitro antibiotic susceptibility then treatment.
Methods: A swab was taken from the foot ulcer, and the aerobic bacteria were isolated and identified by cultural, microscopic and biochemical test, then by api-20E system. After that their antibiotic susceptibility pattern was determined. Then local and systemic treatment was used to treat the diabetic foot patients.
Results: Bacterial isolates belonging to twelve species were obtained from diabetic foot patients. Gram (-) bacteria were the predominant pathogens in the diabetic foot infections, high percentage recorded by Klebsiella pneumoniae (25.71%). Polymicrobial infection was observed in 72% patients. Imipenem was the most affected antibiotic in susceptibility test, except for Acinetobacter spp. that resist for all antibiotic used, followed by amikacin and ciprofloxacin. Local treatment gave more inhibitory effect on diabetic foot infections than the systemic treatment.
Conclusion: High prevalence of multi-drug resistant pathogens was observed. Gram (-) bacteria especially Klebsiella pneumoniae was the predominant pathogens in the diabetic foot infections, and Staphylococcus aureus was the most common of Gram (+) bacteria. Local treatment was the best for treatment of diabetic foot infection patients.
Background: - Diabetic foot infections may be classified as superficial or deep. Bacteria are liable to enter any cut or ulcer causing infection. Defect in treatment of infected deep diabetic foot may result in oesteomyelitis, limb loss, and even death.
Methods: - Microorganisms were isolated and identified from both superficial & deep foot ulcers infection of (60) diabetic patients.
Results: - The present results showed that high incidence (30.8%) of Escherichia coli (E-coli) was isolated from dry - superficial foot ulcers followed respectively by Staphylococcus epidermidis (S. epidermidis). 3.1 % and 15.4% of Proteus mirabilis (P. mirabilis), equal Percentages for Klebsiellae Pneumoniae (K. pneum
Diabetic foot ulcer (DFU) or Lower limb ulcers are one of the major complications caused by diabetes mellitus especially when patients fail to maintain tight glycemic control. DFU is linked to multiple risk factors along with the genetic factors and ethnicity which play a significant role in the development of DFUs through their effects on multiple aspects of the pathophysiological process. This narrative review aimed to summarize all the previous studies within the last ten years associating gene polymorphism and DFU. Polymorphism associated with vascular endothelial growth factor (rs699947), the G894T polymorphism of the endothelial nitric oxide synthase gene, interleukin-6–174 G>C gene polymorphism, heat shock protein 70 gene polymorph

Civil responsibility emerges as an important part in the scope of dealing with the effects of the Corona pandemic, as some people deliberately or negligently tend to harm others, which calls for resorting to the provisions of civil responsibility. It seems that the burden of civil responsibility falls not only on individuals, but also on private and public legal persons alike.
The English judge while dealing with the contractual breach، takes into account an aim that the legal solution he makes consistent with justice. Such concept allows the judge to order for the specific enforcement of the debtor’s contractual obligation if the compensation was not a sufficient remedy to redress the damage resulting from that breach. However، the conditions imposed by the rules of justice and the impediments that make the technical scope of this remedy very limited in the positive aspect. And modest in his negative one '' injunction''. Despite of its complementary function among the remedies for contractual breach، specific enforcement in English law may affect legal consequences because of its unique nature، some of

The aim of our study was to analyze the medical, therapeutic, and patient risk factors for developing DF ulcerations among diabetic patients in Baghdad, Iraq.
Objective: The aim of the study is to assess the personal hygiene of adult patients with
diabetic foot.
