Synthesis Of Nanostructured TiO2 Thin Films By Pulsed Laser Deposition (PLD) And The Effect Of Annealing Temperature On Structural And Morphological Properties
...Show More Authors

In this work, nanostructured TiO2 thin films were grown by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) technique on glass substrates. TiO2 thin films then were annealed at 400-600 °C in air for a period of 2 hours. Effect of annealing on the structural and morphological were studied. Many growth parameters have been considered to specify the optimum conditions, namely substrate temperature (300 °C), oxygen pressure (10-2 Torr), laser fluence energy density (0.4 J/cm2), using double frequency Q-switching Nd:YAG laser beam (wavelength 532nm), repetition rate  (1-6 Hz) and the pulse duration of 10 ns. The results of the X-ray test show that all nanostructures tetragonal are polycrystalline. These results show that grain size increase from 19.5 nm to 29.5 with the increase of annealing temperature. The XRD results also reveal that the deposited thin film, annealed at 400 °C of TiO2 have anatase phase. Thin films annealed at 500 °C and 600 °C have mixed anatase and rutile phases.  Full Width at Half Maximum (FWHM) values of the (101) peaks of these films decrease from 0.450° to 0.301° with the increase of annealing temperature.  Surface morphology of the thin films have been studied by using atomic force microscopes (AFM). AFM measurements confirmed that the films have good crystalline and homogeneous surface. The Root Mean Square (RMS) value of thin films surface roughness are increased with the increase of annealing temperature

The synthesis , characterization and mesomorphic behaviour of new Nacyl , thiourea and imidazole derivatives which derived from corresponding Schiff bases are reported.             All the synthesized compounds which contain flexible methylene group in the centre of the molecule did not show any liquid crystalline properties . The derivatives of N- acyl [III]e  and thiourea [VI]e  which contain  biphenyl and all compounds with one phenyl in the centre of the molecule display liquid crystalline behaviour .While the imidazoles did not show any liquid crystalline properties except [V]b [V]e  with biphenyl in the centre of the molecule . Transfocation Technique to Overcome Atmospheric Scintillation Effect on a Laser Detection and Tracking System (LDTS)
...Show More Authors

Atmospheric transmission is disturbed by scintillation, where scintillation caused more beam divergence. In this work target image spot radius was calculated in presence of atmospheric scintillation. The calculation depend on few relevant equation based on atmospheric parameter (for Middle East), tracking range, expansion ratio of applied beam expander's, receiving unit lens F-number, and the laser wavelength besides photodetector parameter. At maximum target range Rmax =20 km, target image radius is at its maximum Rs=0.4 mm. As the range decreases spot radius decreases too, until the range reaches limit (4 km) at which target image spot radius at its minimum value (0.22 mm). Then as the range decreases, spot radius increases due to geom

Effect of adding the Flavonoids from Zizypus spina-christi leaves in redox indicators of the fat extracted from Cows, Sheeps bones and storage on defferent temperature and periods.: Effect of adding the Flavonoids from Zizypus spina-christi leaves in redox indicators of the fat extracted from Cows, Sheeps bones and storage on defferent temperature and periods.

Flavonoids were extracted from Zizyphus spina-christi leaves by Ethyl acetate after acid digested and used as antioxidant. The dried extract was added separately to each sample of fat extracted from hallow cow and sheep bones as follows: T1 cow fat, T2 control for cow fat, T3 sheep fat and T4 control for sheep fat (the control T2 and T4 reffered to samples without added antioxidant).
Samples were stored at -18, 5, 25 and 55 °C for 28 days. The storage trials were conducted at -18, 5 and 25 °C for 28 days for T1, T2, T3 and T4. The chemical indices examined initially and at the end of storage period. PVs was 1.46, 1.46, 1.8 and 1.8 meq/ Kg oil respectively, FFA values were 0.245, 0.245, 0.244 and 0.244% respectively and TBA va

Green Synthesis and the Study of Some Physical Properties of MgO Nanoparticles and Their Antibacterial Activity
...Show More Authors

Magnesium oxide nanoparticles (MgO NPs) were synthesized by a green method using the peels of Persimmon extract as the reducing agent , magnesium nitrate, and NaOH. This method is eco-friendly and non-toxic. In this study, an ultrasound device was used to reduce the particle size, with the impact on the energy gap was set at the beginning at 5.39 eV and then turned to 4.10 eV. The morphological analysis using atomic force microscopy (AFM)  showed that the grain size for MgO NPs was 67.70 nm which became 42.33 nm after the use of the ultrasound. The shape of the particles was almost spherical and became cylindrical.  In addition the Field-Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM) analysis sh

Simultaneous influences of hematocrit in the erythrocyte medium on erythrocyte aggregation and sedimentation: a kinetic study by a laser scattering technique
...Show More Authors

The erythrocyte aggregation is an important physiological phenomenon in the circulation of blood. It is a basic characteristic of normal blood that plays a major role in the cardiovascular system, especially in the microcirculation. This study explained the kinetics of single cells rouleaux formation one- dimensional aggregate and three- dimensional aggregate, during simultaneous, and the effect of hematocrit on the process of aggregation and sedimentation. The present study was done on forty one healthy subjects. Laser light is passed through a well mixed sample of blood and the forward scattered light intensities recorded continuously. The samples were prepared with different hematocrit, (10%, 15%, 20%, and 25%). Increasing

Purepolyaniline and doped with hydrochloric acid was prepared in different molarities at room temperature. The a.c electrical properties were stadied.AC conductivityσac (ω), is found to vary as ωS in the frequency range (100Hz-10MH), S< 1and decreases indicating a dominate hopping process. Thedielectric constant ε1and dielectric loss ε2 have been determined for bulk polyaniline. ε1 decrease with the increase frequency. Electrical conductivity measurements increase with the increases both of the amount of HCl and the dose of radiation. The dielectric investigations show decrease with dose radiation.
