Electron Transfer At Metal/Molecule Interface

   Theoretically description of the electron transfer of the electron transfer of met/mol has been investigated in this work according to the quantum theory. By using a model that is derived depending on the first order perturbation theory, the rate constant at met/mol interface can be calculated with the calculated reorganization energy. The reorganization energy that is evaluated according to the outer sphere model is based on the electstatistics potential of the molecular donor and acceptor. The molecular parameters introduced in this model are the molecular weight, mass, density, and radius of molecule have been evaluated according to the apparent molar volume using spherical approach.       The theoretical results are obtained according to our model of rate constant for electron transfer, a corresponding with the experimental data for some qualilative metal/molecule interface some qualitative of the experimental studies .

Pragma-linguistic and Socio-pragmatic Transfer among Iraqi Female EFL Learners in Refusing Marriage Proposals

In the framework of this study, the phenomenon of transfer is probed pragma-linguistically and socio-linguistically concerning marriage situations among Iraqi EFL learners. The study also strives to look at the refusal strategies most commonly employed by Iraqi female English as a foreign Language (EFL) learners compared to their counterparts, American native speakers of English. The study involved 70 female participants who answered a Discourse Completion Task (DCT), which contained ten marriage proposals to be refused. Each situation entailed refusal of a person from a higher, an equal, and lower status. Effect of soil saturation on load transfer in a pile excited by pure vertical vibration

Simulation of Oxygen Mass Transfer in an Internal Loop Airlift Reactor with Axial Dispersion Model

The effect of superficial gas velocity within the range 0.01-0.164 m/s on gas holdup (overall, riser and down comer), volumetric oxygen mass transfer coefficient, liquid circulation velocity was studied in an internal loop concentric tubes airlift reactor (working volume 45 liters). It was shown that as the usg increases the gas holdup and also the liquid circulation velocity increase. Also it was found that increasing superficial gas velocity lead to increase the interfacial area that increases the overall oxygen mass transfer coefficient. The hydrodynamic experimental results were modeled with the available equations in the literature. The predicted data gave an acceptable accuracy with the empirical data.
