Al Huweizah Marsh is considered as the largest marsh at the southern part of Iraq. About one third of the marsh is located within the Iranian territory. Iran began to construct earth dikes along the Iraqi-Iranian international borders to separate the Iranian part of the marsh. The electrical conductivity, EC, value was adopted to be the indicator for the water salinity within the marsh. The aim of this paper was to investigate the removal efficiencies of Zn⁺² ions from wastewater by adsorption (using tobacco leaves) and forward osmosis (using cellulose triacetate (CTA) membrane). Various experimental parameters were investigated in adsorption experiment such as: effect of pH (3 - 7), contact time (0  - 220) min, solute concentration (10 - 100) mg/l, and adsorbent dose (0.2 - 5)g. Whereas for forward osmosis the operating parameters studied were: draw solution concentration (10 - 150) g/l, pH of feed solution (4 - 7), feed solution concentration (10 - 100) mg/l. The result showed that the removal efficiency by using adsorption was 70% and the removal efficiency by using forward osmosis was 96.2 %.

In this work, we introduce an intuitionistic fuzzy ideal on a KU-semigroup as a generalization of the fuzzy ideal of a KU-semigroup. An intuitionistic fuzzy k-ideal and some related properties are studied. Also, a number of characteristics of the intuitionistic fuzzy k-ideals are discussed. Next, we introduce the concept of intuitionistic fuzzy k-ideals under homomorphism along with the Cartesian products.

Objective: To assess prospectively functional outcome of interlocked intramedullary nailing fixation in management of closed tibia shaft fractures. Methodology: This prospective study included 134 patients with closed shaft tibia fractures with age 18-60 years and isolated closed fracture of shaft of tibia. The fractures were fixed by interlocking intramedullary nail. At follow-up after 12 months postoperatively, the functional outcome was assessed radiographically for the sign of union and clinically according to Klemm-Borner criteria. modules, defined using y– closed submodules.
We show that a ring R is purely y – extending if and only if every cyclic nonsingular
R – module is flat. In particular every nonsingular purely y extending ring is
principal flat.

In this paper, we introduce and study the essential and closed fuzzy submodules of a fuzzy module X as a generalization of the notions of essential and closed submodules. We prove many basic properties of both concepts.
