A Prediction of Skin Cancer using Mean-Shift Algorithm with Deep Forest Classifier

      Skin cancer is the most serious health problems in the globe because of its high occurrence compared to other types of cancer. Melanoma and non-melanoma are the two most common kinds of skin cancer. One of the most difficult problems in medical image processing is the automatic detection of skin cancer. Skin melanoma is classified as either benign or malignant based on the results of this test. Impediment due to artifacts in dermoscopic images impacts the analytic activity and decreases the precision level. In this research work, an automatic technique including segmentation and classification is proposed. Initially, pre-processing technique called DullRazor tool is used for hair removal process and semi-supervised mean-shift algorithm is used for segmenting the affected areas of skin cancer images. Finally, these segmented images are given to a deep learning classifier called Deep forest for prediction of skin cancer. The experiments are carried out on two publicly available datasets called ISIC-2019 and HAM10000 datasets for the analysis of segmentation and classification. From the outcomes, it is clearly verified that the projected model achieved better performance than the existing deep learning techniques.

A Comparative Study for the Proton Electronic Stopping Power of Some Polymers by Using Mathematica, SRIM2013, PSTAR, LibdEdx, and Experimental Databases

The available experimental data of proton electronic stopping power for Polyethylene, Mylar, Kapton and Polystyrene are compared with Mathematica, SRIM2013, PSTAR and libdEdx programs or databases.  The comparison involves sketching out both experimental and databases data for each polymer to discuss the agreement. Further, we use statistical means via standard deviation resulting from the mean normalized difference to describe the precise agreement among the databases and the experimental data. We found that there is not a specific one database can describe the experimental data for certain material at given proton energy.

A New Approach for the Turbidimetric Determination of Hydronium ion by Using Homemade Linear Array Ayah 5SX1-T-1D-CFI Analyser

The method was based on the formation of complex Zn3[Fe(CN)6] for Zinc(II) that was eluted by Hydronium ion from cation exchanger column with Potassium hexacyanoferrate(III) for the formation of a pale yellow precipitate and this precipitate was determined using homemade Linear Array Ayah-5SX1-T-1D continuous flow injection analyser. In this paper a circuit that can display the decimal equivalent of an n-bit binary number is designed and it’s behavior is described using Verilog Hardware Descriptive Language (HDL).
