The ground state densities of neutron-rich (11Be,15C) and proton-rich (9C,12N,23Al) exotic nuclei are investigated using a two-body nucleon density distribution (2BNDD) with two frequency shells model (TFSM). The structure of the valence one-neutron of 11Be is in pure (1p1/2) and of 15C in pure (1d5/2) configuration, while the structure of valence one-proton configuration is in 9C,12N are to be in a pure (1p1/2) and 23Al in a pure (2s1/2) . For our studied nuclei, an efficient (2BNDD) operator for point nucleon system folded with two-body correlation operator's functions is used to investigate nuclear matter density distributions, elastic electron scattering form factors, and root-mean square (rms) radii. The effect of the strong tensor force (TC) in nucleon-nucleon forces is taken into account in the correlation. The wave functions of a single particle harmonic oscillator are used with two different oscillator size parameters, βc and βv, the former for core (inner) orbits and the latter for valence (halo) orbits. The measured matter density distributions of these nuclei clearly show the long tail results. The plane wave born approximation (PWBA) is used to investigate the elastic electron scattering form factors for these exotic nuclei.
An effective two-body density operator for point nucleon system folded with two-body correlation functions, which take account of the effect of the strong short range repulsion and the strong tensor force in the nucleon-nucleon forces, is produced and used to derive an explicit form for ground state two-body charge density distributions (2BCDD's) and elastic electron scattering form factors F (q) for 19F, 27Al and 25Mg nuclei. It is found that the inclusion of the two-body short range correlations (SRC) has the feature of reducing the central part of the 2BCDD's significantly and increasing the tail part of them slightly, i.e. it tends to increase the probability of transferring the protons from the central region of the nucleus towards

Show MoreThe nucleon momentum distributions (NMD) for the ground state and elastic electron scattering form factors have been calculated in the framework of the coherent fluctuation model and expressed in terms of the weight function (fluctuation function). The weight function has been related to the nucleon density distributions of nuclei and determined from theory and experiment. The nucleon density distributions (NDD) is derived from a simple method based on the use of the single particle wave functions of the harmonic oscillator potential and the occupation numbers of the states. The feature of long-tail behavior at high momentum region of the NMD has been obtained using both the theoretical and experimental weight functions. The observed ele

The ground state proton, neutron, and matter density distributions and corresponding root-mean-square radii (rms) of the unstable neutron-rich
22C exotic nucleus are investigated by two-frequency shell model (TFSM) approach. The single-particle wave functions of harmonic-oscillator (HO)
potential are used with two oscillator parameters bcore and bhalo. According to this model, the core nucleons of 20C are assumed to move in the model
space of spsdpf. Shell model calculations are performed with (0+2)hw truncations using Warburton-Brown psd-shell (WBP) interaction. The outer (halo) two neutrons in 22C are assumed to move in HASP (H. Hasper) model space (2s1/2, 1d3/2, 2p3/2, and 1f7/2 orbits) using the HASP interaction. The halo st
The Skyrme–Hartree–Fock (SHF) method with MSK7 Skyrme parameter has been used to investigate the ground-state properties for two-neutron halo nuclei 6He, 11Li, 12Be and 14Be. These ground-state properties include the proton, neutron and matter density distributions, the corresponding rms radii, the binding energy per nucleon and the charge form factors. These calculations clearly reveal the long tail characterizing the halo nuclei as a distinctive feature.
The elastic transverse electron scattering form factors have been studied for the 11Li nucleus using the Two- Frequency Shell Model (TFSM) approach. Show MoreThe matter, proton, and neutron density distributions of the ground state, the nuclear root-mean-square (rms) radii, and the elastic form factors of a two- neutron, 8He and 26F, halo nuclei have been studied by the three body model of within the harmonic oscillator (HO) and Woods-Saxon (WS) radial wave functions. The calculated results show that the two body model within the HO and WS radial wave functions succeeds in reproducing the neutron halo in these exotic nuclei. Moreover, the Glauber model at high energy (above several hundred MeV) has been used to calculate the rms radii and reaction cross sections of these nuclei.

The nuclear density distributions and size radii are calculated for one-proton 8B, two-proton 17Ne, one-neutron 11Be and two-neutron 11Li halo nuclei. The theoretical outlines of calculations assume that the nuclei understudy are composed of two parts: the stable core and the unstable halo. The core part is studied using the radial wave functions of harmonic-oscillator (HO) potentials, while the halo is studied through Woods-Saxon (WS) potential. The long tail behaviour which is the main characteristic of the halo nuclei are well generated in comparison with experimental data. The calculated size radii are in good agreement with experimental values. The elastic electron scattering form
