On-site pit is the most common option that may be used to dispose drilling wastes. The contents of these pits vary, depending on the lithology of formations drilled and the drilling mud ,and different chemical additives.
Eighty samples of mud (sludge) and eighty samples of water have been collected from ten pits of two Iraqi oilfields(North Rumaila and South Rumaila/southern Iraq) and were chemically analyzed for metals Cr, Pb,As, Zn, Fe, Mn,K , Na,Ba, Ca, Mg,SO4=,and Cl- in order to determine the quality and quantity content of studied reserve pits

Unsaturated soil can raise many geotechnical problems upon wetting and drying resulting in swelling upon wetting and collapsing (shrinkage) in drying and changing in the soil shear strength. The classical principles of saturated soil are often not suitable in explaining these phenomena. In this study, expansive  soil (bentonite and sand) were tested in different water contents and dry unit weight chosen from the compaction curve to examine the effect of water content change on soil properties (swelling pressure, expansion index, shear strength (soil cohesion) and soil suction by the filter paper method). The prediction of the blood flow through an axisymmetric arterial stenosis is one of the most important aspects to be considered during the Atherosclrosis. Since the blood is specified as a non-Newtonian flow, therefore the effect of fluid types and effect of rheological properties of non-Newtonian fluid on the degree of stenosis have been studied. The motion equations are written in vorticity-stream function formulation and solved numerically. A comparison is made between a Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluid for blood flow at different velocities, viscosity and Reynolds number were solved also. It is found that the properties of blood must be at a certain range to preventing atheroscirasis

Tests were performed on asphalt concrete specimens with (101.6 mm in diameter and 101.6 mm in height), and the results were implemented for calculating permanent deformation and resilient modulus under repeated compressive stress with different levels of stresses (0.068, 0.138 and 0.206) MPa at 40 ºC. Two types of additives namely (carbon black-asphalt) and (SBR-asphalt) were tried as rejuvenators with three percentages of (0.5, 1 and 1.5) % by weight of asphalt cement along with two ratios of AC (1 and 2) % have been implemented as rejuvenator and blended with the reclaimed asphalt concrete. The average concentrations of heavy metals (Pb, Co, Ni, Cr, Cd and Zn) in soil of North Refineries Company (NRC) at Baiji and around were determined in 29 selected locations using GPS. The pickings up of samples were carried out in three periods in 2012 in January, March and July. The concentration levels of determined heavy metals shows values within or lower than many researchers.

From these needs, the recommender system applications have arisen. This research proposed a recommender system that uses user's reviews as implicit feedback to extract user preferences from their reviews to enhance personalization in addition to the explicit ratings. Diversity also improved by using k-furthest neighbor algorithm upon user's clusters. The system tested using Douban movie standard dataset from Kaggle, and show good performance.
