Abstract: In the present work, the heat transfer of Nano Aluminum Oxide -NAO- has been studied practically to define the appropriate insulation conditions.  This study focuses on finding of the amount of heat transfer through a glass substrate that is coated with nanoalumina doped on PMMA matrix. Laboratory studies were conducted at the biological control unit, college of Agriculture, University of Baghdad to evaluate some biological aspects of the predator Chilocorus bipustulatus (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae), which is considered one of the most important predators on many insect pests, especially the scale insect, Parlatoria blanchardi, (Homoptera: Diaspididae) on date palms. The title compound was synthesized by 2:1 condensation between adamantan-1-ylamine and benzene-1,4- dicarbaldehyde in n-BuOH and produced a good yield 87% of new bis Schiff base. The compound skeleton was affirmed by FTIR, ¹H NMR, LC-MS, and X-ray powder diffraction. The structure was solved by a parallel tempering process and refined by using Rietveld refinement. Two adamantan-1-ylimino groups are connected in the anti-positions to the planar central 1,4-dimethylbenzene group. All rings of the adamantyl group possess normal chair conformation.

Antibiotic resistance has been a growing worldwide public health issue. The World Health Organization (WHO) has stated that the search for new antibiotics is slow, while antibiotic resistance is growing. WHO has also declared that antibiotic resistance is one of the top 10 global public health threats facing humanity in the 21st century. Therefore, this review discusses the potential of metal-based drugs as antibacterial agents from the period of the early 2000s to date. The review reveals that a lot of preliminary work has been done to assess these as potential drugs. However, their mode of action is faintly described. Furthermore, a few examples of metal-based drugs assessed for their modes of action are described. These compounds are ide
