Using Social Media sites by the Iraqi women and the Achieved The Use of Iraqi Women of Social Networking Sites and the Satisfactions Generated from Them.: A Survey Study of the City of Baghdad
...Show More Authors

The problem of this research lies in the fact that there is a lack of accurate scientific perceptions about the size of the use of Iraqi women’s social networking sites and the motives behind this use and the expectations generated by them.
The goals of the research are as follows:
1- Determine the extent of Iraqi women’s use of social networking sites (Facebook, YouTube, twitter, and Instagram).
2- Investigative the motives behind the use of social networking sites by Iraqi women.
3- Detecting the repercussions of Iraqi women’s use of social networking sites (Facebook, you tube, twitter, and Instagram).
The research is classified as a descriptive one. The researchers use the survey methodology. The research community is limited to Baghdad city population of only females at the age of 18 and above who use these sites. They also use questionnaire, observation and interviews as research tools.
The research is concluded with the following results:
1- Iraqi women use a large number of social networking sites (Facebook, you tube, twitter and Instagram) and this shows the relative disparity in the size of the use of each site.
2- The total utilitarian motives outweigh the ritualistic motives behind the use of these sites by the correspondents.
3- Consistency of impressions achieved by the candidates as a result of their use of such sites with the idea included in them, their purposes and name I,e, social communication, and the consequent entertainment.

Spectrophotometric Determination of Sulfamethoxazole with P-N,N-dimethyl amino benzaldehyde as Condensation Reaction
...Show More Authors

Sulfamethoxazole (SMX) was added to P-N,N-dimethyl amino benzaldehyde (PDAB) by condensation reaction in acidic medium to form, a yellow colored dye compound which exhibits maximum absorption (λmax) at 450.5 nm. The concentration of (SMX) was determined spectrophotometrically. The optimum reaction conditions and other analytical parameters were evaluated. In addition to classical univariate optimization, design of experiment method has been applied in optimization of the variables affecting the color producing reaction.    Beer’s law obeyed in the concentration range of 0.1-10 μg.mL-1 with molar absorptivity of 5.7950×104  L.mol-1.cm-1. The limit of detection and Sandell's sensitivity value were 0.078 μ

Mechanisms of Employing Secondary Event in Cinematographic Discourse: ماهر مجيد ابراهيم-شروق مالك حسن
...Show More Authors

The cinematic story depends on many construction techniques that together constitute the story features technically and the secondary events are considered one of these basic techniques that are directly affected by the employment mechanisms inside the cinematic achievement. This subject initiated the two researchers to decide the title of the research: (Mechanisms of Employing Secondary Event in Cinematographic Discourse). The research is divided into an introduction that included the problem details, the aim and defining the terms used. The first section was the act and the event in the cinematic story, which addressed the relation between the act and the event and the nature of the simulation that tries to ascend the human act

Estimation Hazard of Lung Cancer Due to Radiate Radon Gas in Diyala Governorate Schools
...Show More Authors

In this research, the concentration of radon gas has been calculated in the classrooms of schools in Diyala Governorate by using the nuclear track detector (CR-39), which was one of the organic solid-state nuclear detectors (SSNTDs). After calculating the radon gas concentration, the lung cancer cases were calculated. The results showed that the lowest value was found in (Alshumue) school (4.753) people. In contrast, the highest value was found in (Habhib) school (20.421). The average values of lung cancer cases in Diyala governorate were equal to (9.319) per person. The results showed that the number of lung cancer cases per year per million persons in Diyala Governorate schools was below the allowed limit from (ICRP) agency (170-230) p

Performance Enhancement of an Air Cooled Air Conditioner with Evaporative Water Mist Pre-cooling
...Show More Authors

The present paper deals with experimental investigation of the performance of air cooled split air conditioner, with evaporative water mist pre cooling to increase the cooling capacity and reduce the consumption power under hot and dry climate. This investigation considers how the performance can be enhanced by using water mist to pre-cool ambient air entering the condensers by adiabatic cooling process which depends on the ambient air wet bulb temperature; as well the condensing temperature and condensing pressure will be decreased accordingly. So the cooling capacity would be increased and consumption power would be decreased, consequently the energy ratio, EER would be improved. The performance of air cooled air conditioner with water

Anti-Breast Cancer Activity of Some Synthesized Pyrazole Derivatives Bearing Imidazo[1,2a]pyridine Moiety
...Show More Authors

A novel series of pyrazole derivatives containing imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine D1-D8 moiety has been synthesized. The reaction of 2-aminopyridine with 4-phenylphenacyl bromide and 4-bromophenacyl bromide gave the products A and A1, respectively. These products then reacted with DMF and POCl3 to obtain new aldehyde derivatives B and B1. These two aldehydes were condensed with various acetophenone substitutes to yield the corresponding chalcone derivatives C1-C10. Following this, the cycloaddition reaction with hydrazine hydrate provided new pyrazole derivatives D1-D8. The prepared compounds

Existence of Fixed Points for Expansive Mappings in Complete Strong Altering JS-metric space
...Show More Authors

The paper aims at initiating and exploring the concept of extended metric known as the Strong Altering JS-metric, a stronger version of the Altering JS-metric. The interrelation of Strong Altering JS-metric with the b-metric and dislocated metric has been analyzed and some examples have been provided. Certain theorems on fixed points for expansive self-mappings in the setting of complete Strong Altering JS-metric space have also been discussed.

Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy for Determination of Toxic Metals in Fertilizers: emphasis on Lead
...Show More Authors

The present work aims to evaluate the content of some toxic metals in chemical and organic fertilizers purchased from local markets in Baghdad, Iraq. The analysis was performed by laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) system. The emission spectral lines of lead (Pb), chromium (Cr), cadmium (Cd) and cobalt (Co) have been recorded to determine the best peak representing each element according to the NIST database. The validity of the LIBS procedure was checked by cross-validating the obtained results using atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) with a maximum relative error of 5.3%. Moreover, for qualitative analysis, Pb I 296.64 nm emission line was determined to be superior for the evaluation of lead content in terms of three

Abstract

Objective(s): A descriptive study aimed to determine nurses' knowledge about chest physiotherapy techniques for patients with Corona virus disease and observe the relationship between nurses' knowledge and their socio-demographic characteristics.

Methodology: The study was directed in isolation units of Al- Hussein teaching hospitals in Thi-Qar, Iraq for the period from June 1st,  2022 to November 27th, 2022. Non- probability (purposively) sample comprised 41 nurses. A questionnaire was used for data collection and it consists of two parts: the first part comprises socio demographic features, the second part includes self- administered questionnaire sheet wa
