The swarm intelligence and evolutionary methods are commonly utilized by researchers in solving the difficult combinatorial and Non-Deterministic Polynomial (NP) problems. The N-Queen problem can be defined as a combinatorial problem that became intractable for the large ‘n’ values and, thereby, it is placed in the NP class of problems. The obtained results data were interpreted using a spherical optical potential model and Eikonal approximation, to examine the effect of the first-order Eikonal correction on the effective potential. This paper proposes feedback linearization control (FBLC) based on function approximation technique (FAT) to regulate the vibrational motion of a smart thin plate considering the effect of axial stretching. The FBLC includes designing a nonlinear control law for the stabilization of the target dynamic system while the closedloop dynamics are linear with ensured stability. The objective of the FAT is to estimate the cubic nonlinear restoring force vector using the linear parameterization of weighting and orthogonal basis function matrices.
