Abstract The study aims to explore the reality of information culture among holders of higher degrees who work as lecturers in colleges far from the specialization at the University of Baghdad. And to provide clear visions of the nature of their level of study in the academic community, specifically their skills and the research difficulties they face when searching for information and when preparing research, whether for the purposes of promotion, evaluation or obtaining a higher degree, and what is the role of the lecturers of the Department of Libraries and Information holding academic titles (Assistant Professor and Professor). In developing and enhancing the information culture among this group. The survey method was used to obtain this data that determines the skills and difficulties of searching for information and to identify the information cultures among this group. The researcher reached a number of results, the most important of which were the following: 1. There are ranks of information culture, and the highest rank is found among those who have recently obtained degrees as a result of the development of study and teaching methods, especially in the age of technology, which made this group have more information and higher motivation for information education, self-development and continuous education. 2. Those who have achieved lower ranks do not mean that they have completely lost their information culture, but rather they are a group that needs continuous training and education, along with the need for support and to be charged with scientific energies and to increase their motivation towards developing their information cultures.
Generally, the academic facilities necessitate specific criteria to be under the regional standards such as creative leaders, and a positive climates that induce to create an organizational culture within the academic institution. Consequently, these variables promote to improve the educational and administrative performance pursuing to achieve the general objectives. The current study aims to identify the resilience of university students, as well as identify the differences in resilience according to the variable of gender and specialization. The research sample consisted of (382) students studying at Baghdad University. To measure Resilience, a questionnaire of (48) items was designed to collect the needed data. The results showed that the students of the University of Baghdad possess resilience. There are no differences in resilience according to gender and specialization.

The purpose of this study is to assess the level of computer literacy of the students at AlQuds open university in Tulkarm Branch. The study investigates the effects of the variables of gender, specialization, academic level, owning a personal computer, internet communication, and own an email account on the level of computer literacy.
