All alive languages had passed linguistic changes that made the mother language not recognized by its present speakers. Some of these changes are: syntactical, semantical, orthographical, phonetical and lexical.During the period of changes which extends over centuries, there had been a lof of written texts, such as literately texts, biographies, personal memories and manuscripts which are conserved until now as a literatel, historic and linguistic testimonies.Spanish is one of these languages that had been changed, so, the poem of the Cid (1145) was written in a Spanish which differs from the Spanish in which Cervantes wrote the Don Quixote in (1605/1615) and the Spanish of both of them differs from the Spanish of Francisco Ayala and Azorin, novelists form the twentieth Century.
El estudio se clasifica dentro los estudios teóricos sobre literatura que se ocupa del estudio de los métodos de la crítica literaria: El Estructralismo literario francés y el Formalismo ruso del siglo XX que se utilizan en la interpretación literaría. Las dos corrientes literarias estudian la literatura como ciencia que busca aplicar un método científico al estudio de la literatura. The present study discusses the significant role of the historical memory in all the Spanish society aspects of life. When a novelist takes the role and puts on the mask of one of the novel’s protagonists or hidden characters, his memory of the events becomes the keywords of accessing the close-knit fabric of society and sheds lights on deteriorating social conceptions in a backwards social reality that rejects all new progressive ideas and modernity. Through concentrating on the society flawing aspects and employing everything of his stored memory, the author uses sarcasm to criticize and change such old deteriorating reality conceptions.
