The Effect of Using the Part Method Of Teaching In Physical Education For Learning Some Skills In Volleyball

Abstract

The importance of the study lies in identifying the importance of learning especially motor learning and it connection with learning motor skills. In addition to that the importance lies in using a teaching method that contributes to developing the level of learning.
Fields of The Study:
Subjects: forth year college students of the teacher institution of the academic season 2008 – 2009
Place: the athletic courts in the teachers' institution /Baghdad.
The Procedures:
The researcher used the one group experimental method. The subjects were (33) forth year students divided into sections the researcher selected section A as a controlling group and section B as an experimental group.
After excluding uncommitted students and those how failed the subjects became (12) student. The basic skills of volleyball were selected after taking the opinions of experts in the field. A pilot study was made followed by pretests then the main experiment. The main experiment lasted for nine weeks then the posttests followed. The results of the tests were treated statically.
Conclusions:
The researcher came up with many conclusions yet the most important conclusions is that the part method of teaching has a positive effect in learning some skills in volleyball.
Recommendations:
Finally the researcher recommended the following:
1. Using this method in teaching the basic skills in volleyball in students of teachers' preparation institute.
2. The necessity of using this method in physical education class.
