A comparative analysis study for some variables kinematic of walking for disabled people living unilateral amputation above the knee and normal gait


   
Abstract

In this study, an analysis and comparison of some variables kinematic for walking with disabilities living with unilateral amputation above the knee and between the natural gait, The main goals of the research is to identify variables affecting kinematic on each of the walking movement for disabled persons with unilateral amputation above the knee and the movement of a natural person walking on the ground flat and then identify the differences between the variables for each of these movements during the performance of walking. The study was conducted on a sample of (2) consisting of one patient, one of the disabled patients who are in the clinic education at the Medical Rehabilitation / Prosthesis & Orthosis Dep. in Institute of Medical Technology-Baghdad, in addition to a natural person after the testing necessary for him to make sure that there is no congenital malformations in the lower limbs, but the most important objectives of the research is to identify variables kinematic affecting both the movement of walking for disabled persons with amputations and single above the knee and the movement of walking to the natural person to Playa and then identify the differences between the variables for each of these movements during the performance of walking. The study was conducted on a sample of (2) consisting of one patient, one of the disabled patients who are in the clinic education at the Department of Medical Rehabilitation \ industry parties and supporting the technical institute of Baghdad, in addition to a natural person who is testing necessary for him to make sure that there is no congenital malformations in the lower limbs, and the main conclusions reached by the researcher that the largest angles in the ankle joint of the normal person with disabilities and also prosthesis has been achieved in both sound limb and prosthesis for disabled person, where the angle is greater than in natural person and where there have been less angle, but for the knee joint we find that the largest angles have been made in sound limb of a person with disabilities, and in the hip joint, we find that larger angles may be distributed between a normal person and prosthesis for person with disabilities, as for measurements of length step, we find that the largest length of the step has been achieved in a normal person and the shortest period of time and the shortest step length has been achieved in the sound limb of a person with disabilities, the most important recommendation is the need to direct all rehabilitation centers for persons with disabilities to use the methods of Bio-mechanical Analysis in order to detect deviations that occur in the movement of walking their own.
